I never win anything so this would be pretty cool. Good luck to all the contestants
Finally the purple one, man blue colour sucks the tone! I am glad you changed it with purple colour, it’ll be more subtle on the high end.
Last time they accidentally sent you a blue one instead of purple. This time they sent you a grey one.

Nice trolling... from revvamps
This is a big boy amp. If music is your job, then you can justify the expense. If it’s just a hobby, we’ll probably not. Revv makes incredible stuff. The Generator line is by far my favorite amp, and I’m just a drummer.
I’ve had my MKIII Generator 120 for two and a half years now. Best amp I’ve ever owned. It just does everything I want, and I feel like I play better when I’m using that amp.
Revv has the high ground in flexibility of tone. This demo shows it.
Regular humans cannot afford these amps.

That’s why you buy used. Got a XXX combo for 300 bucks. Also modeling, tbh, is just as good now.
So glad to have an amp review! Yours have always been my favorite.
modern and classic sounding best of both worlds - great demo sir
That truly is a thing of brutal beauty!!! Awesome demo.
Silent playing, and Impulse Response tube amp with a footswitch, so many knobs for each channel, and effects is genius!
Sounds killer! The built in IR's sounded great too. 6 is probably my favorite. \m/
The amp sounds awesome!! Thanks for the great demo Ola!!
I never clicked so quick on a Amp demo video ! The REVV Generators are my favorite and you did it justice! I really liked the impulse responses on there, 2 - 5 (dual cab sim? :o) and 6 were sounding really good to my ears!
That intro is rocking soooo hard 🤘 Hell YEAH !
This is literally everything you need from an amplifier. channel 4 with verb sounds insane. Chugs and sounds killer. Love it 🤘

Ola : Tube amps rule !!!! Glenn Fricker : . . . . . . . . . . . SPEAKERS RULES YER STUPID GUITAR PLAYERS !!!!!!!!!
It all sounds so excellently excellent... I think I'd have option paralysis with it. Like why does it have so many amazing sounds... it intimidates me, I wouldn't know which to choose. But for anyone who is ultra picky about getting the exact right tone dialled in, yeah! Nice one.
I think all modern heavy distorted sounding amplifier should have and noise gate like the modelers, using the signal from the guitar, before the distortion to "decide" when open or close them applying the noise cut after the distortion. Theres nothing worst than being a metal kid, exploring the noise gate world for the first time and discovering that a pedal before the amp will never remove white noise from distortion.

a 4-cable noise gate will. At least, the hiss from the pre-amp.
amazing amp for sure. im pretty sure il stay with my engl savage mk2 though.thanks for the demo ola.
Your playing sounds awesome in this Ola🤟🏼
I know it's a much tamer amp but I own the Revv D20 and its also an incredible little amp, Takes pedals amazingly, Revv's use of Two Notes and their love of total customizability make them amazing workhorses while also having a fun selection of colours and tolex.
What a dream amp to own, I guess I’ll have to struggle with the Laney vh100r couple of more years
What an amazing amp! Holy Cannoli’s!! Thanks for the vid!!
Bringing out them old school riffs 🔥
Love it when he works those mids.
Nice review! It's hard to walk away from real tube amps.
That thing is badass...amps come so far since I started playing in 84, it's insane really how far everything has come lol ..I'm guna look into this one pretty hard...
I liked them all! That sounds like a Great Amp.
This is perhaps the best sounding amp I have ever heard in my life. It's expensive AF though! $4300 + tx in Canadian dollars. That's right, Revv is a Canadian company based in Manitoba!
Totally a pro's amp. That selector switch at the end is highly usable. Love the colour coordination. Many thanks to the purple python.
Love the OG 2011 angle! Maybe bring back some videos in that style someday?
that revolution is my name inspired intro riff is so good
Sounds insane!!!! to much rich, a veeeery good option for recording studio 😍
Plans to try the Zero Vogg amplifier (decapitated) signature from MLC amplification?
Sweet amp indeed. However, I would like to add that the camera angle with the Amp and you in the background shot, priceless :)
Great Amp, would love it.
That's an amazing amp , no doubt. But my favourite sound so far is Guitar-paraeq-chug pedal into a bugera 1960 infinium. Love love love.
liked that last IR the best I think! Number 6!
Sounds fantastic. I will add this to my wishlist right next to the "I hope to win the Powerball Jackpot".
My favorite IR was the last one.
Ouch, Ola, Your guitar pick hit My eye! 😢
5 and 6 for sure!
Thank you for all the awesome videos OLA, love your content and hope I win the draw! Stuck with an old fender and would give anything for an upgrade!
How cool is it that Ola just gives away shit that he gets to try out! Very fuckin cool man!!! ❤
That sounds so beautifully badassery
Marshall JVM 410h for the win. I don't understand why put effects into the amp at all. Provide effect loop(s) in the amp and sell effects separately (to make more money). And adding noise gate into your amp hints that your amp has something terrible going on inside :D
The revv generator series is freakin sick!! In the words of ola, shiiiiiit!
The real fake snakeskin does add so much crispness to the tone! Unreal!!!
Love that riff!
Tube amps will never die!!
my god. best amp out there. period
Hmm, flamboyant! The amp is a confirmed bachelor. And whyever not?
Starting to throw your picks like me!
6 is definitely huge sounding!
Sounds beautiful! \m/
The 6th IR its my favourite 😅 great amp!
Hello Ola I love your videos! What are the differences between this 2024 MK III model and the MK III released 3 years ago? You did a video on that two and it was in a blue tolex I think. Thank you so much!
The Noise Gate, I wish Mesa Boogie had included that in my Mesa Roadster Head.
We need more gear review Ola
I love my Revv 120 mk3. I went for the carbon fibre tolex with a purple front and back plate and the clear knobs. But frankly, I'd have had it in Barbie packaging if it was the last one available. It's effing ridiculously good. Until you've physically been in the room with it... You just don't get the impact of that sound. I've owned a dozen amps by a dozen different companies... The Revv is just in another league.
Sounds good!!!
1 and 6 were the best. This amp has nice chunky tones👊
Looks like the cab 5 and 6 were the best.. the notes looks like cleaner and in the 5 seems like stereo?!
1-5 sounds great 🤘🏻
6 and 2 were noice!🤘🤘
Snake skin looks sickk
VC 6 is my fav!
I like how it has the same knobs as the Boss Katana head!

A lot of audio companies get quality knobs from the same Chinese hardware factories. It's actually quite expensive to have tooled a custom knob, and so, many audio companies who care the most about the sound of a device will cut costs on hardware instead of the more sound-crucial electronic components by buying off the shelf knobs instead of custom ones. If the knob on this amp looks like the knob off of another, more than likely it was a Chinese knob manufacturer that also made the knobs for that other amp or, they simply reverse engineered it. I worked for a boutique audio company which is how I know these things.
Sounds badass, duder
Godly tones
Whoa 🔥so basically it's a WARMACHINE
Sounds very good. The red AMT-Brick would make the sound awesome. EMG81 &60 and good to go :-)
I caught that little bit of The Drapery Falls at at 3:00 :D
None more purple But seriously - great sounding amp!
Is this a great value version of the Hughes & Kettner Triamp mkIII?
Best amp yet
DAMN THAT SOUNDS SICK ASF
Awesome riffage, amen
I’ve been a fan of the Revv stuff since the Generator Mark I and this amp fucking rips
Purple tolex, purple guitar, you like the purple channel... I can sense a trend here 🙂
Geesh. It sounds that good, and doesn't Ola using Medium output pickups?
This thing is so killer So killer in fact, it’s overkill for my needs personally Those Canadians are pretty good at building amps
You know I really like 1-5 myself
Goodness that thing is heavy
Virtual cab 3 was damn near identical to the Master Of Puppets tone🤘🤘
Awesome 😊
virtual cab 6 sounds like a tasteful chocolate cake.
We need a synergy module of the generator!
It sounds awesome. I probably won't be investing because I don't like digital built into my analog tube circuit.
Revv is sick! 🇨🇦
🤘😈🤘 Tube amps are killer🔥🔥🔥
There's multiple options out there, and hardly any really bad ones either. I still love my real amps (especially when recording!), but I'm also using a Joyo preamp with a really good 4x12 cab sim onboard, for rehearsals and small / festival gigs where there's hardly any time to properly set up your rig. The Joyo jack output (without sim) goes to the return of any basic amp or combo that's available on the spot, and this gives me the sonic pressure I need to feel behind me, and the XLR out has the sim included and goes to the mixer. Combined it makes for a pretty solid experience as a guitar player, and the audience gets the right sounds too. All in all really affordable too! 👍
Where can I get those Solar string silencers?
Still waiting on a review of that charvel from few vids back
If that guitar was a neck through bass I would buy like 5 of them. We don't have enough good looking pointy basses!
I love hearing people complain about how expensive nice things are.
As a tube amp tech I fully endorse buying more tube amps, bring me yours to fix!
What’s the song at the beginning? Is that on Spotify?
Hello Ola 🤘
This is a monster amp
