Hey Andy, just thought I would let you know that I may have overcome my sleep disorder well enough to finally get my gear lessons started. I am still a month or two out, as I need to ensure that my sleep disorder is not going to take revenge. As to the video, would you might demonstrating this with a BluGuitar Nanocab as a sort of ultimate tiny/lightweight gig rig which has a tube preamp? I am thinking of using that combination if jamming opportunities arise, though I would feed the Terror Stamp's effects return with a Synergy SYN-1 chassis such that the former would be a power amp and backup preamp.

@@TheGuitarGeek but if you're running it straight to a board for band practice and using headphones as monitors, it will stay clean right?

I'm afraid to say that this thing (these things - I now have two) is so good that I'm using them exclusively. My Katana 100/212, Katana Artists (I have two), Brent Hinds Terror, Rocker 15 Terror are all just gathering dust at present. This is proving to be a very protracted love affair. I'm eyeing up the Orange Amp Detonator ABY pedal to go with these Terror Stamps. I think that might be interesting. And of course could use Detonator with any pair from my wardrobe of amplifiers (if and when I go back to them). Very happy days at present.

I've been very curious about this lil' amp since it was announced. I need something for my Barefaced cab. May have to give this a shot. Thanks for the video, Andy.

I've got one en route to try with my Barefaced 110 w/ a greenback 10. I'm hoping it'll be a fantastic mini rig.

Great demo! Would the Stamp still sound good at low volumes for playing quitely in a flat/apartment? I read one reviewer say it sounded thin at low volumes. Or maybe I can connect the Stamp to my audio interface, then to studio monitors, and control the volume that way?

I love mine! Great idea

Could this pedal be used as preamp for the boss katana mk2? Would be nice to se it being used as valve preamp ti se how it affects the tone ! Good video :)

Can you recommend this to go straight into DAW to record guitar silently at home? My neighbours don’t like when I turn up my ac30.... so I’m really looking for a solution to go straight into my interface and monitor through my Adams.. would be great to be able to just plug in from pedalboard to DAW!

Nice pedal amp!!! Volume 1 and 2? Is it possible to switch between clean and distortion? Or is for boosting the sound? I am find it interesting to hear the sound in combination with the Ibanez 2204 in the back. Nice curls tough! A fellow Member of the curly brotherhood of men.

You can set two volumes but not two gain levels. That would be cool! I’ll be following up on this and I’ll happily use the AZ

The cab sim / earphones out seem to be slightly less full and a tad thin. The effects loop sounds great.

What’s the self noise like these? I had a micro dark and it was very noisy self noise, not great for recording

Just wish I could cut some bass pre gain. The overdrive is unusable with humbuckers. Sure you can use pedals, but then what's the point of having so much gain.

Hey my friend, which amp would you prefer betwen the orange stamp and thee joyo bantamp jackman? I'm aware that they emulate different amps (orange and marshall) but which one do you think is better as an amp? thinking to use it for rehearsals at home and with my band (we play something like Volbeat).Thanks!!!

Wow that’s a great question. Both are really great. Both have there plus points. It’s hard to choose. I guess the orange would be better for quiet practice. It’s gotta come down to the sound you prefer I think

I was looking into these when replacing my practice amp. Ended up getting a Katana MKII, just cause there's so much more out there on those by now. How friendly is something like this as a practice/bedroom/apartment amp? Or is it up to what kind of cab you get? (Are there good cabs for quiet practice?)

Hey! Good choice on the Katana. This orange terror stamp is pretty different. I think it’s ideal if you have a cab already or you want some realistic headphone practice

Hi Andy. Nice to see you always doing videos. Hope you're doing well and you beloved ones as well. I would like to use my dookie pedal but have only a cheap Vox DA5 emulation amp which doesn't take pedals. What would you recommand to use my pedal as an affordable amp? The idea would be to play at bedroom level or record the signal from the pedal on a computer. Would this orange do the job? Cheers

Hey man. The orange is great but doesn’t stay clean for long. Try it as it may be perfect for bedrooms with headphones. Failing that, a second habe katana 50 should be about the same price

I have a question, I recently switched from bass to guitar and still have this Orange Crush Bass 100 combo amp with a 15" speaker. So I thought of buying one of those Terror Stamps and connect its FX send to the FX return of the Crush Bass and additionally connecting a PPC112 to the regular speaker out of the Terror Stamp, so I can run the 15" and the 12" simultaneously... is this even possible?

Hello GG, could you test it through the boss katana fx loop? I wonder how I could use it along with my.pedals. I'm new to this so I'm not sure how I would plug everything, using the orange as preamp + time based fx in the loop. Thanks!

Hello Andy, one question. Could I plug the cab output to my Two Notes CABM+ or the Bluguitar BluBox? I'm searching for info but I can't find nothing. As far as I know, the transistors and hybrid amps could be plugged to these cab sims, but I'm not 100% sure. Thank you.

So could you effectively run this as an OD pedal, setting volume 1 to zero and using volume 2 as the level for the effect, and using the footswitch as an on/off?

I've got an orange 2x12 that I currently gig with a Katana Head MKI. Would be curious to know if that could replace the head if I needed it as a backup/flight rig.

As you see in the video, it does clean but not VERY clean for very long. It could be perfect for low volume stuff though

depends very much on what sounds you get out of that Katana. If you're going for those kind of crunch sounds on the katana the terror feels at home most at, then sure, as backup and for everything live where you're being mic'd, its hellafine. For a expansive pedalboard with tons of sounds in the set? Nah. Not even if you want a clean-tone inbetween, since the footswitch only switches volume, but the gainstages stay the same.

I keep the Katana real clean with a dash of always on reverb, nothing else, I dont really use the Katana to each full potential even though I have the big ol footswitch. My may tone comes from an always-on EQD Westwood which I love. I'm sure it can play nice with the Stamp, although clearly some changes would need to be made. Good thing is, with that price mark, its an easy enough hit to take. Think I'll go for it and see how it goes

@@JasonTsimplakos as long as you don't need the terror stamp to be loud, that probably works. But keeping it clean it will reach its volume limits quick. Plus no reverb.

Gotta say, that Fender 66 is the best Fender I've ever heard.

What is that riff you play at 2:56? Can't place it. I would love to just take a pedalboard to a gig. But no DI?

Is there any way to replace the valve that is inside the Terror stAMP? Like what happens if it gets dropped and the valve breaks, can it be removed and replaced?

I would recommend that you plug the speaker of the X2 into the speaker out of the Orange Terror Stamp

If you come out of the fx send, yes. Don’t plug the speaker output into a pedal!

It is a tube amp. It is essentially a Micro Dark Orange 20 watt amp in a pedal format.

My dirt channel on my 30r has shit the bed.. this is a lifeline

For a clean tiny amp, I reckon the Vox MV50 Clean is a far better bet, notwithstanding the absence of the effects loop. Much cheaper too! Could you please record a comparison video of the two? 😀🎸

I have the Orange Micro Dark, and I got this. Well, if you don't have a lunchbox amp at all, then I think the Stamp is fantastic. But, if you're like me, and you already had a lunchbox style amp, then its not really worth it. I mean, its basically another Tiny Terror. Great product, just not if you already have something similar. Just my opinion.

How does it compare to the micro dark? I mostly play clean or light overdrive bluesy stuff. I'll be using it with headphones in a dorm. Not sure if the stamp is good enough to give up the aux input for practice. Thank you for your help!!👍🏽

Not bad, but get rid of the cab sim. A simple line out will allow you to add your own cab sims if you want which you can do using H/W or your DAW software. The point of this box is to keep it simple and adding the cab sim breaks that rule.

It farts out.not a versatile pedal.watched a 100 vids.not one with a whole Lotta love riff .because it will not do it.fart fart fart.
