My question is, why are those supposedly EU-only devices actually more expensive in the EU than what US youtubers advertize them for? This particular device is sold on the official FFfone store for €119.99...

I just wanted to thank you for your review of the Sunbeam f1 pro. I got the maple version and I love it. The keyboard for texting was exactly what I needed. Texting was always holding me back from going full dumb phone. take care and God bless!!

I stumbled upon your video, and it's a game-changer. You've got a new subscriber!

This is the Opel Touch Flip in Australia. The only real difference is the ‘app’ icon and the front LCD screen. It’s still probably one of the better ‘dumb’ phones. Yes, you can install some key apps, but it’s never really nice enough to actually want to use it for anything other than the real basics. The predictive is also (as you say in this review) one of the better ones out there and works rather well. Mine always crashed when trying to use a word added to the library though. The Cat S22 does have a much nicer screen, which possibly makes it more of a smart device than this is. One of these with the absolute essentials is a pretty good thing.

Saw that you had the rabbit r1, since people figured out how to get android on it I was thinking it could work well as a minimal phone except for the battery of course. But I thought because of its screen size it can work really well as a small phone to not get distracted on. Ik the limitations lol but it’s still cool to think of as a concept.

Yeah. I'm looking into the alternatives as the main services offered by Rabbit lack a lot of support and consistency.

Thats a very nice telephone, how is the quality compared to the sunbeam f ? Is the texting good ?

In Italy it comes wuth andr. 10 do You think will it possibly upgrade or, should be possible ti install custom roms based on same version?

Interesting. I haven't seen anyone create any ROMs or Mods for this phone, so I'd say that the chances are low as of now. But I would venture to guess its GSI certified so other Android versions could be loaded.

I just recently bought the cats22 flip and seems like the batter gets warm. Is there a reason for that?

that hinge thing is alarming but its $100 phone so maybe I give it a try. my s22 has started having a bit of keyboard issues (which is common for those)

My Huawei mate 10 pro same. I was thinking battery replacement as i did but now i think that kernel and software versions are main problem. I know there is possibility to install cusrom roms but i do not know anyone can help me. 😕

It only supports email clients that are not based on Google. So Fair Email, Outlook, etc.

Does it have Google Maps?

You have to install your own maps app. Organic maps will work, Google maps won't.
