Thank you TTC unions for holding the city hostage. If I am not able to get to work when you strike, thank you for costing me my job. While you have job security, many of us don’t and jobs are hard to come by for everyone other than you over entitled people.

@@ElRogerGamingTTV depends on the length of the strike - which is not something people can plan around I understand - but if the strike lasts for just a couple of days... then it maybe affordable. It may not... Also - typically - direct car rides from point to point are faster than TTC travel times - so what is an hour and 20 minutes might be like about 40 minutes via car. Up to each individual if the time saved is worth the extra cost.

Dude, you can't even open camera to see who stole my iphone15 and your bus can't even call to another bus to watch over my phone on the way back in 30 min. 12th April 2024, 97B bus at Yonge St at Briar Hill Ave and lost it at Merton bus stop because your damn bus driver rushed passed through all stops even with stop request. I went into your damn Davisvile train station to ask all customer service counter and busses, none of you helped me. The worst is the week prior, I returned the iPhone 14 someone else lost on the same bus on the same seat for free. If anything, it might be your staffs who stole it. Right now the location of my phone 15 is at 981 Coxwell Avenue room 3. Go ahead and strike, I can walk.

Look people if ottawa survived a 51 day bus strike, Toronto can survive a strike as well. Hopefully ATU and TTC can agree, but if not hopefully by the end of the weekend. Little pain for some gain.

How did people get to work? Was there any issues financially because of the strike? My work is saying we can use Uber and they will pay us back. But the costs will add up and be too much.

TTC bus drivers make an average of $83,810 + pension for just driving a bus which is actually a nice salary compared to average canadians. striking for 100k now? TTC will need to increase the fare to $10 to compensate for this wage increase which causes hardship for many average canadians. TTC deficit gonna keep increasing

Back to work legislation will be ON again

In the case of a TTC strike tomorrow, park a lawn chair underground somewhere close to where you need to get, and self-impose yourself on it for 1 to 2 hours before moving on. That way, you won't feel any disruption from the TTC being on strike.

Ys, the service is getting worse everyday with lots of interruptions and incidences while they are demanding more. Shame on you!!!
