TTC Line 2 Bloor-Danforth Toronto Rocket Subway Announcements (2023-24 Version)
We're here back with another TR announcements video! Requested by @youtubedavidcreator.
Back in August 2016, when the T1s were having A/C failures, a few TR trains were borrowed from Line 1 to serve Line 2 as an extra train. But could the Toronto Rocket subway trains be serving Line 2 Bloor-Danforth again in future? Could they be used during the opening of the Scarborough Subway Extension? If you didn't get a chance to ride the TRs on Line 2 or curious to know what the TR announcements sounded like on Line 2, this video might give you the answer, at least some...
Also, since this is TTS generated, some of the announcements you hear in this video may not sound exactly the same as what it actually sounds like on the real TR trains.
Note: Credits for the external announcements and door chime goes to @MetroElfren. I did the edits by combining the TR door chimes and the external announcements. Meanwhile the next station and arriving announcements are TTS generated.
ALSO Note: If you're an OpenBVE or Roblox user and you wanted to use these announcements in a TTC game, feel free to do so. But be sure to credit it.

I actually wish Line 2 does use TRs. Even if Line 2 becomes a Greenwood/Wilson based line, that would be nice. It'd be cool to see some versatility on Line 2 like in the past when we had H4s, H6s & T1s on Line 2

Yeah, the TTC could possibly put some TRs at Keele Yard since all the T1 fleet are now based off Greenwood Yard. Even if the TRs are ATC equipped, still it would cool to see more than one different type of rolling stock on a line. I don't get why they never have a thought about putting TRs at Keele Yard.

My channel is mostly focused and based off transit in the Greater Toronto Area (mostly TTC). But however, since I'm planning to go to Montreal either this year or next year and also doing a video of the Montreal Metro, I might do Montreal Metro Announcements but it's TTC TR. Or I might do a video called "What if Montreal Metro announcements sounded like TTC?". But great suggestion you have there! 👍

Yes, only thing is that it's the 2024 version. On this version, Kennedy station has the transfer to Line 5, if it ever opens.

I was wondering the same thing. My predictions would be, maybe 2025, 2026 or 2027. But more likely once all or most of the T1s has been retired and replaced the new trains that are replacing them, then TR would be on Line 2.
