Its a great lens for the price! I bought the E-mount version days after its purchasable and did not regret my choice. One point to watch out for is the flare resistance though, it can get really bad with the sun in frame. Had a few images with proper composition which failed because of the ugly flare that's pretty hard to remove even with photoshop.

Great review! I'd like to say that before I shot with Sony I was a Nikon shooter and one of the lens I kept was the Nikon 10.5mm 2.8 Fisheye Lens. I use it with a metabone adapter and it works great but of course I get no use out of the electronics. Also, I always have to change my Sony settings to APS-C. I recently got the TTArtisan 11mm 2.8 and compared the two and wow this lens really holds up well! I'm not debating is I really should keep my Nikon lens or sell it. Pros with the TTArtisan: Looks about 99% as good, it's a lot cheaper, no adapter needed, no camera settings have to be changed. If you are looking for a Fisheye lens this is a good one to get.

I am going to have to re-learn proper exposure on many images, if I have to go full manual. Your exposure was optimal on your into-the-sun portrait photo. Most of yours were from a bright but overcast day which is easier. Hope I can re-learn when situations are more difficult.

Amazing review as always, thank you! And Dustin, the reason why the M-Mount version of this (these) lenses always cost much more is because mechanically they are much more complex. The whole focusing mechanism and internal house and railings for the Leica rangefinder mount is totally different from all other mounts of the same lens for mirrorless. I have this lens on a Leica M Monochrom and love it ☀️

Nice review, I think you really pointed out all relevant point. There is a native L mount version tool. I bought the L mount version some weeks (March) back and I am positively shocked in regards the quality (build & image) when having the price in mind. Not sure how it is possible to get something like this for around 200€ (delivered) to the customers. For L mount users getting this lens is a no-brainer. Fun fact, my L mount version came a more simplistic carton box - no nice round corners or red interior ;-)

Nicely done review as always, Dustin! I generally prefer OEM lenses, because I'm of the opinion that they offer the best compatibility, image sharpness, and ergonomics, but when I had a Fuji X-T3, I used it with a Rokinon 8 mm f/2.7 Fish-Eye II lens, and results were decent. However, I wonder if this TTArtisans Fish-Eye has the resolution to handle a 45MP sensor, i.e., that of the Nikon Z7. Thank you sir,

Now if only someone would make a native circular fisheye for Sony FE! I've butchered a Samyang 7.5mm for MFT and it works ok but I'm definitely hoping someone will release something that isn't quite as much of a hack job.

Great video and very informative, but OVERUSE of the Unecessary word "ACTUALLY" is really ridiculous. Try speaking without using actually which adds nothing.
