Tsushima solo travel vlog | Four days on the Japanese mysterious island

I went on a four-day trip to Tsushima in October. I had always been interested in Tsushima Island, but it was "the Ghost of Tsushima" that really made me decide to visit there. Although I don't usually play games at all, I happened to see a trailer for the game and was really impressed. Actually it's really beautiful there like beyond my imagination and became very happy four days.

Don't expect it to look like the game though. Like you see in this video the environments look different from the game. They wanted all those stereotypical japanese environments from the mainland in the game while the actual island is primarly dense forests.

I'm in Shanghai and it is the Day 20 of a brutal lockdown here. Playing The Ghost of Tsushima every night after my kids went sleeping was the only escape from an anxiety to the future. It was my first PS5 game and got me overwhelmed. I found calm and peace from the beautiful sceneries of Tsushima. Your video was really a surprising treat. I wish I get a chance to visit this peaceful island some day in future. Thank you for all your wonderful efforts putting this together. It simply transports me there. Stay well.

Ghost of Tsushima effects: When I saw the shrines, I thought, “hey, there must be a way to get a hidden charm”. Then I saw the banners and thought, “cool, more sashimono banners to collect!” And when he showed the jungle, I instinctively pressed an imaginary R2 button to collect Yew Wood.

Hey! I just discovered your channel and I wanted to say, that it's absolutely great. I really enjoy your style and I'd like to see how your videos' quality and content progress in the future. On that note, I noticed that white subtitles sometimes are difficult to read on a bright background, so maybe dimming the background area behind them a little would do the trick. Also (perhaps you fixed this already since this video) some better image stabilization would be great. Other than that, everything is spot on!

Absolutely breathtaking. I've watched a few of your videos now and I love your style. Makes me miss Japan soo much - なつかしい! Like someone already mentioned; image stabilization does wonders (I've already seen it in some of your newer videos, so I bet you already know). And also that panning shots can look even better if they are slower - especially if you're recording in 30 fps and not 60 :) otherwise it can be a bit stuttery/blurry. I tend to make this mistake a lot myself, where I'll pan the camera too fast only to discover it later when looking at the results - maybe it's a bit of personal preference here too... Can't wait to binge the rest of all your uploads ^^ and looking forward to your future videos!

You recently became my Saturday/Sunday morning breakfast program ^^ I wanted to do a sabbatical in Japan this year but bc of the Rona it didn't work out. Usually Japan related content shows either the crazy side of Japan, the earnest working one or the very traditional. When I watch that kind of content I sometimes forget why I like this shimaguni so much. Your content on the other hand captures exactly, spot on why I fell in love with this country. Even the music feels like I would have picked it... Thank you very much for creating these viedos. They mean a lot to me.
