I don't understand, if AI will take all the jobs, then there will be very little consumer left. Less income=Less expenditure, so who will these companies target to (only the richest) and that's not how businesses work. So basically these companies will se Newton 3rd law. To every action there's equal and opposite reaction. If the dawn of AI looms, liquidity will be over and so will these companies

Exactly but the loss of consumers will be an natural settle down effect which will take upto 20 years to reflect. Till then it will going to change the whole perception about how we live.

Go medical all fields are shortages and even more in a few years. Air Traffic Controllers are going to be few also. A lot of us baby boomers are getting old and retiring. The next generation needs to fill that gap with the next generation after that.

Don't you worry, nothing beats human brain. Ai is all about data that is used to trained on. After a point ai can't will have stagnent intelligence, nothing beats humans intelligence. So opt field of your interest irrespective of its future, if you have desire in what you do you will surpass anything on way.

Choose anything you want to do, AI May replace many roles but there are certain things that never go away, the industry isn't gonna change that fast, if what they say is really true then we won't be having COBOL and Ada programmers. Certain industries like banking, defence, phrma, aero or anything that has to do with safety isn't gonna go anywhere, they are here to stay, at least a decade. AI is in the end, a mathematical construct, weights and biases are the nuts and bolts of this machine, on it's own it is as intelligent as your bike. Sure it can do things that a human can never do, but it's nothing new. computers are good at doing the same thing millions if not billions of times but they can never replace human intellect and creativity. At least for a few decades.

Medical will have shortages in all fields and or air traffic controller are fields that will have a shortage. And even though AI is out there and dominant, some things need a human touch.
