I just wanna appreciate Hylissang's map presence. He had a really impressive vision score and allowed FNC to have map control throughout the game. That enabled Selfmade and the others to farm all the jungle camps on the map. Even when they had a ~2.5k gold lead, which was not that significant, they also had at least a 5 level lead combined. Props to both teams, very enjoyable and tense game.

Honest question, but do you think Hylissang felt comfortable doing that because TSM was scared of the Evelynn? That jungle pick allowed Hylissang to roam freely. Even spica seemed scared of the Evelynn after 6 (as he should be.) Just curious on your thoughts. It was a great/tense game.

Honestly this is a support Diff Selfmade can farm peacefully while rakan is covering and doing the jungler job of protecting laners when they shove the minions to reset, small things do add up.

Eve is also one of the only broken champs in the game right now and also a massive power pick for Selfmade as a whole. I'm not saying she is so broken she's winning the games on her own like previous worlds and times in the spring/summer splits BUT her invis is one of those mechanics in the game that makes jungling unsafe, laning unsafe, it puts you on edge even if you are playing safe and have vision. You can only have 5 control wards on a map with true sight to spot her out and if you lose control you can't find her on camps that easily either. Eve should be 100% ban for this reason alone. Even a bad Eve player can make teams question their maco.

Tbh an afk player would have been a support difference over biofrost. Why would have flash q when it's a nidalee level 1 and Senna level 1. Who in the hell did they scrim that he thought it was the right move. Even if it was 3v3 you still aren't winning the trade.

@Git Gud Yep it's not easy to play eve well. We've seen it with the eves in play ins, hasnt looked unbeatable at all... Selfmade is the best eve in europe and probably one of the best ones in the world. And the way he plays the map on the champ is really impressive to behold.

Hyli is doing good job but at the same time him and bwipo are the masters of ultra int. There isn't a game where hyli isn't making me nervous as fuck just watching when the camera is on him.

Hylli stopped the recall and tried to recall back again, if I'm not mistaken, that makes some sound even if you're not visible as long as your near enough. That's probably why they knew someone was in the alcove.

LeoxSevered true true. TSM made a couple good moves with the herald to get early tower pressure and their second dragon but overall FNC was in total control. The baron jus caught TsM totally sleeping.

Depends on how you perceive the game. If you were looking at it from a strictly gold perspective, then yes, it was close. But TSM were getting out Macroed and had little vision control over the game. And more importantly, Selfmade had a 3-4 level gap over TSMS jungler for most of the game, Bwipo had 1-2 levels over BB, even Nemesis had a level over Syndra, and Rekkles had a level -2 levels over Senna due to it. They were far more ahead , despite what the gold difference said.

TSM´s biggest weakness comes back to haunt them...Giving away free barons when they have the match under controll/not losing by a huge margin...They had a much better draft, they just simply coudnt find the picks with syndra and camille, and as soon as Fnatic got the baron it was over...

It’s still hard to say, Besides fly and rouge the western teams get to kinda avoid the best of the LPL and LCK... would probably have to wait until knockouts before we can really comment on the gap.

13radley I true but this is still Bo1s, they aren’t always the best for determining who is the best (can DWG maintain that momentum and adapt throughout a Bo5 vs other international teams or is this a one off, for instance)... not to mention we’ve seen them vs a second seed team so we’ve got no idea how they stack up to TES or G2. It’s certainly a good start for Korea, let’s see if they can keep this up and what the other regions have in store for them before we render judgement (or see if JDG can bounce back).

Imagine expecting any NA team to not get completely shat on this year. NA as a region this year is ESPECIALLY bad. Like it's insane how bad they are. They don't even deserve to be a 3 seed region. In fact they should have just taken away 2 of the seeds to give one each to LCK and LPL so we might actually be able to see some competitive games.

WHY does Doublelift keep picking Senna? Isn't he like 1-6 with her this year? Bjergsen is really good on Syndra, so I can't criticize him on that pick.

@@hajime2k Bjergsen just plays champions he dont have to interact with laners - Syndra / Zilean / Orianna - the moment he has to go for the skillcheck, he is gigainting.

hajime2k he didn’t really do anything wrong he played well, his bad death was just ultimate luck and a good play. TSM lost on macro, they didn’t really make any plays and just waited for the L

Tsm only messed up due to having to make guesses with lack of vision. When they were wrong, they lost a lot, such as being in the wrong position for that last dragon fight - half the team was hanging back expecting something to happen, but it didn't so all it accomplished was letting FNC take drag only contested 5 v 2

I wonder how the new season 11 items will change the game for the pro players

Not too upset with what I saw, tsm actually hung in there up until late game.

Yeah, they fell asleep for the baron which was discouraging, but other than that....I was happy with what I saw. I did want prio on the Lucian in draft....and once they locked in camile I wanted to see the Zilean for the combo. In hindsight, zilean would have helped vs eve too.

Christian Mayonove agreed and disagreed, I don’t think champs were just the problem, I think overall they’re really aggressive and willing to fight anywhere and their mechanics seem to match gen and fnc , but it seems they have no idea what to do on the map sometimes, even their more recent game, they got kills and did nothing after. Which I’m not a pro so I’m not judging nor do I understand all circumstances by any means, but just seeing outside looking in, it looks like they’re a little lost after getting some kills on the map, idk.

Don't get surprised in jng lvl 1 and don't leash the dragon if you're not going to contest it and then be late to baron.

LOL. I feel bad for anyone who watched the tsm video to get you “hyped” for worlds. Then watched this... NA is a let down every single year.

I think they dont even know why they pic Nida, I think the only reason is cause they think it is meta.

Insanely stupid comment. Nidalee is Spica's best champion. Keep in mind - Spica is a rookie, and joined TSM for Summer 2020 (not even spring).

Absolutely stupid pick. If it doesn't stomp in early game (something very hard to happen) it is such a dull presence in the map. 0 utility, low damage and no cc. Almost the same reasons why you don't see Shaco in competitive.

I wanted to say it was a close game but.. Bwipo was inting. It wasn't that obvious because of how TSM performed. TSM was just too indecisive.

Tbh whoever made the call of not banning eve needs to be talked to. Softly put. Besides that, TSM deserves this loss because of some of their players’ arrogance

Eve isn’t worth first round pick there is too many power picks while Eve is rarely picked. When tsm meet them again I’m sure eve won’t even be played

@@XplicitStory I think it depends on the team you're versing to be honest. Selfmade is really good on eve and destroyed g2 with it in the plays offs. If I remember correctly im pretty sure in the g2 vs fnc summer finals eve was banned every game by g2

Refusing to ban a comp that was perma banned in the LEC finals, a comp that everyone knows Fnatic know how to play blindfolded. That comes off as arrogance 😝.

Fnatic will find a way to mess up. Drakos' verse on the Mediocre Rap Battle described Fnatic to a T. Fnatic was expected to beat TSM, but I can easily see TSM beating them next time.

I honestly think TSM will win after watching this... who else felt it?? Dropping 3 kills... fking up early game and still manage to hold on tight even against eve.. next time eve is ban and no early horrible set up.. TSM looks better.

idk i think we watched different games. Tsm litterly did nothing whole game, bjerg had 1 roam and bb had some individual outplays and that's it. Fnc was always in control, taking everything important, ahead in gold/levels/vision and map pressure. Ofc it was because of the eve pick, but still tsm didn't look good, fnc just played it slow. Tsm didn't look bad either, they played it like tsm always does: Doing nothing, waiting for mistakes to punish.

@@Germanwildcats2 I would say FNC made sure they did not let TSM do anything. The eve pick was supposed to be weaker than nid early game but the play at red buff lvl 1 made Eve's life easier. That just accelerated eve's power and thus not allowing TSM to splitpush because of the threat of eve stealth after 6.

Dont get me wrong, the dragon for inhib trade was awful. But saying that TSM did nothing the whole game is kinda troll. Give the team some credit for 'trying.' The game felt close up until the dragon inhib trade. FNC did well choking TSM because FNC had the advantage level 1. If the game started with nid and eve even, then i can see a world where spica camps top to enable brokenblade. But sadly FNC was a step ahead in lvl 1 preparation. Overall it was a competitive game. Both sides had good moments and bad. And im sure both teams will fix their mistakes and move forward.

bruh i can even recognize Bjerg without Bread.

No NA teams will get out of groups stage, mark my word
