Ever since my parents divorced, you start to see the real colors of how extended families members treat you and your siblings without a father figure or a functional family. As a teen right now growing up, I realize my father is in the same position my grandfather was in when my dad was a teen, gone so many days without being found, stressing days and nights to hope for the best. As i reached my teen years, im always out drinking and hanging out, too busy having fun and not realizing the stress my father goes through hoping im not in a jail cell. My dad is only yelling at me the way my grandparents did and he never listened, he wants me to be better and to do better. This song explains so much of a fathers love.
