Tshepi On: Navigating Motherhood in a Foreign Country, Highs and Lows, and Lessons Learnt
NOTICE: We apologise for the glitches in the video. These unfortunately happened post-upload.
This week I chat with Tshepiso Nkiwane, a new mum to a beautiful bubbly 9-month old baby girl about her journey to and through motherhood, the challenges she has faced and how she has learnt to lean on her family and friends and on God.

This episode was touching and heartwarming at the same time. Motherhood is really a gift and a calling🥰. I’m also one of those people that thought or assumed that everyone wanted to be a mother and being one was just a click of a finger but this conversation has shown that women can experience different weathers even in the same season. One thing that caught my interest was the ‘love language’ part about her and her mother and I would like to pose a question to Tshepi and other mothers and future mothers in here………………Are you going to ask your daughter and future children if you are loving them the way they want to be loved as they grow or are you going to love them the way you think is best????

Eyyy such a deep question! I think a balance can be struck. As a parent you do need to do what’s best for the child but nothing wrong with checking in with the child to find out if they feel loved
