not sure about him getting that character development or them even being the endgame but the way he smiles towards her,or how gentle he is with her and also comfortable around her (which goes for namsoon to) makes me feel too many things but my man himself isn’t aware that he’s in love already still idc I’ll consider them as an endgame in my head😭

Sad ending?

My obsession with this couple is really not healthy. I wish the writers would change up the usual plot for Sio but the chances are super slim. 😭They should've casted differently to ease our pain at least! I mean Ong Seung Wu is great and all but Byeon Woo Seok is just superior (for me! don't come at me, I've been his fan for a while now). Also his chemistry with Nam Soon is on a whole different level. And don't we all love a villain becoming good trope? 😂 But then he plays the villain role so good so I kinda want to watch him more like this...

This villain just totally overpowers all of the other males but is clearly not a match for Namsoon and her family because he has to be dominant and the males have to be weaker and controlled in order to be with the men. The men also have to be honest as the women will lose their strength if they use it for evil. He already wants to use her to dominate the world. He wants to rule and create an evil army of super soldiers, loyal to him because they are dependent on the drug, and so is he, but he feels she is his only match because her strength is a natural ability. He already wants to sex her because he believes he has found his perfect match. Of course he will probably end up conquered and in a special jail or escapes to another country where he can start over from scratch so we can have a part 2, but I really love this villain. Sorry the two of them can't end up together and I also believe he could've been typecast as the new husband. He has my attention and I probably would've let him sex me at least once...I'm sure it would be as exciting and satisfying as he is.

Actually they have a lot in common. They are both kids that were born in Korea and then got lost into a foregin country. It's a metter of chance...Tsetseg had the chance to be saved by a carying family in Mongolia while Shi O had the misfortune to be traumatised to the core by the mafia. Nam Soon had by chance and genetics superpowers to help her survive...Shi O's was powerless to the point he would be left to starve...he had to beat people and kill people as a meaby 10 year old child... Nam Soon was filed with hope of turning home someday and she had a dream...to marry a Korean man...Shi O was forced to take over the cartel and never had a chance to choose for himself, or to have a dream of his own...what was there to dream about for an abused child that already had blood on his hands, no family to serach for him and no hand to reach for help? They are not separated by camps...but by chance. Unfortunately for Shi O there is no possible happy ending...he cannot even have a little bit of hope...Nam Soon defended him because she was undercover...not eacuse she felt it.

Their exchange is always heartwarming...her words mean a lot to him.

the fact that it was him who saw her first and was continuously searching for her is what makes me go obsess over him , maybe due to his past trauma he faced he had been in this stage but he seriously have affection for her and when he said that maybe god had sended her for me i got teary , he must have been lonely and unable to trust anyone , i hope they have a good ending , it could actually make up a good ending as she is considerable to him , for me these are my fav they are compatible to each other actually

His innocent smile makes you forget that he is a murderer, a drug dealer, and a mafia man... I feel sad for him. Namsun could have changed him for the better... I hated the ending so much.

I CANT THEY DESERVE ENDGAME, THIS IS THE COUPLE WE DESERVE

Don't get me wrong, I love the chemistry Namsoon has with Hee-sik. They're cute, funny, and adorable. Hee-sik tries to protect Namsoon (although she doesn't require it), and they're perfect as detective partners. Hee-sik is the 'ideal' kind of man. The safe one. His love is safe and pure. And then we have our Ryu Shi-oh. He's psychotic and obsessive. At first, he was obsessed by Namsoon's power; by her strength. Because he had to consume drugs and work on himself to be strong, whereas, Namsoon was born with it. He was charmed by her strength (and still is). But as the story goes on, we get the back story of Shi-oh. It goes by the saying "Every villain has a story". He was broken, tired, and exhausted. Namsoon became a breath of fresh air for him. She always treated him "normally", her informal Korean worked really well for this case. Thus, then Obsession started to change into Liking. When Namsoon took his side during the meeting with Geum-Joo, he was looking at her LIKE A LOST PUPPY (oml)! Personally, I love Shi-oh, but I'd choose Hee-sik. I want a safe kind of love. Lastly, OH MY GOD! Lee Yoo-Mi and Byeon Woo-seok's CHEMISTRY is FIRE!!! I love seeing them together. They put my screen on fire! I know their character will not end up together in this Drama, but I truly wish and hope they do another one, where we get to see their 'lovey-dovey' moments!! Hehe.

If i can do magic i would surely change the script.....Ryu shi o will become a good person for namsoon....and he is not the villain someone is behind him doing all this works he is just a victim namsoon will heal him give him love..... And theh will be the endgame. Oh my delulu mind...... 😅😅😅

judging from ryu sio’s pov it's def a ‘daylight’ love. like how he could never look away, he could stare at her for hours, days, forever. he is so inlove w her. his love for her is defo cruel, real, dangerous. sio can be himself around her, she’s the first ever person who made him feel like that and i mean can u blame him for that? after all he has been thru. “i’ve been sleeping so long in a twenty-year dark night and now i see daylight” is so HIM coded. ryu sio is all smiley and pretty around her, seriously love that for him, he deserves a happy ending the writer better not do him dirty my man deserves better.

Great edit. It was nice to see that I was not alone in shipping these two. Yes he is a villain but the way he looks at her is so sexy and romantic. It's like saying that she is his world and will never let anybody take her.

I would like if kdrama goes from that perfect lead to dark character dynamics and development leads. Damn, i am always the one to hate villians but looking at ryu si-o character (again im not here for just looks and I aint blind for red flags lol). His character HAD the capability to have a development. Scene about the light "you're a light that's not sure if its real or fake but it can be real if you try hard enough". In this scene, we could see that ryu si-o wanted to be a real light. He even said it would be better to live alone in woods rather than with Pavel. All the bad work he did was only to escape Pavel and show them he isn't weak. He was abandoned as well. It was a plot like "i didnt want to be a bad guy but the world made me the villian" he didn't even invent drugs, he was just obsessed with the antidote. Man had the evil in him that was born and could've died if Si-O tried but instead he decided to Kill himself. I was really sad man

I refuse to believe that he doesn't have feelings for her. Sure, the way the story is written, he's probably just using her for strength. But, eyes do not lie. The way he looks at her, the way he smiles at her. I personally think that this couple has more chemistry in the drama. Their story is far more interesting than the ml and fl's.

honestly we were robbed of these two, their chemistry was so good and she was the first person to make him feel like that.Even if they weren't end game i would have loved to see him try harder to be a real light we could have had such an emotional k drama. Forgive me if Byeon Woo Seok is already massively popular but I've only seen him in one other drama (Record of Youth). I really hope this is his breakthrough role and we're going to get to see him play the lead in the next romcom! He deserves it. That smile is MEEELTING my heart.

Their chemistry is beyond words they looked fire just standing side by side no hugging no kissing but still looked like they will burn each other anytime with just their gaze how come kdrama duo like this without any clingy moments I think they are perfect for Trillion Game Korean version

I hate how they ended him. All he wanted was for one person to treat him like a human being. He was raised in such an awful way too. And that one person betrayed him making him take decisions for the worst. He wanted revenge on his traitor because he was hurt. "Villain's are not born they are created." he didn't deserve that's he could have been good if she didn't betray him.

it's so simple and such a subtle detail and also probably the fact that Si-o had other things in mind anyway(his wicked schemes) but... I can't help but appreciate how non pushy he always was with Tseg. He never once pushed himself onto her even after revealing he likes her. Which for someone with anger and behavioral issues such as him I find mesmerizing

The first time I saw this actor was in Flower Crew Joseon Marriage Agency. He was Do Jun. But as an American I have just started K-dramas in the last 8 months bit I'm hooked. Which is crazy coming from someone Over 50years old. His smile alone.

There is a saying hurt people hurt people, those who hurts inside hurts others , his problematic childhood made him the villain & that childhood of his haunts him every moment & made a void which never fills. Gang name soon genuine innocent smile makes him feel his child self that's why he behaves different towards her.

"Strong" should not only refer to physical strength. It's also a state of mind. The moment the mother sees the picture of the orphans, the moment Nam Soon is told by Shi-O that he has been abandoned and brought into the Mafia gang. They should have tried to help him. This drama really has so much potential and the development of Shi-o's character could really help the drama come alive if they chose a different ending. I don't think I will be watching season 2 if it comes. It was disappointing.

At first he was attracted to her power, but later on he fell in love with her inoccence.. I think it is true to say opposites attract! He also had no childhood so being around her prob feels refreshing to him ...I know they won't end up together, but I also dont believe the writers gave him a character development.. He is prob gonna die to pay for all the bad deeds he did thus he will be led to the atonement of his character

I like Hee Sik but Shi Oh wow, his chemistry with Nam Soon is on another level and I think his character is more deep that we think, he doesnt like what he had to do to survive it seems that haunts him and I want to know if the kid that let him punch him so he could eat is alive or is his boss now and he feels in debt, lets hope he gets a redemption and cast in another drama with her and become the ML

Not trying to downplay the drama, but I would have been more enthusiastic to watch it if the storyline revolved around them. There's just so much potential with that plot. And not all male leads need to be a prince riding a white horse.

Ryu Sio is kinda similar to Lee Jaein (1% of something). He’s grumpy and act like he’s a death angel for most of the time, but when it comes to Kim Dada, he’s a total lover boy
