TSA Agents are cops for all intents and purposes and they only get two weeks of training? Police officers get six months of academy/classroom training with an emphasis on handling people properly. From my contact w/airport personnel this is something sorely lacking in their makeup.

A two week course! That is nowhere near enough time to learn everything they would need to know to spot a potential problem. Two weeks Isn’t even enough time to learn how to be a manicurist. Two weeks is not enough time to learn how to cut hair. Two weeks isn’t even enough time to know how to speak to the public. Do you really think two weeks is enough time to learn how to spot all the many different types of explosives and weapons out there? I know I’m being harsh but let’s face it TSA is done! The TSA is a tax payer money pit nightmare! TSA violates our constitutional rights every day! TSA has never found one terrorist yet. Prove me wrong!
