    Very nice. I am trying to place it. The only location with 6 tracks I can think of is just east of Didcot where the Oxford line splits off, ie looking westward. The two nearest tracks would be down fast and up fast. But it looks like a summer evening around 1947. GWR trains were not generally uniform eg there would often be a couple of older vehicles at the front of a modern rake. Dean clerestory stock or toplight types behind the engine. A Syphon G was also often put at the front. And lots of coal trains behind a 2800 class.

    I know 4-4-0 isn’t top notch at that point, but i really like it. For some reason it pleases me. Maybe it’s because of Edward.

    just because it's a 4-4-0 doesn't mean by any stretch that it's Edward.

    @@TheOnlyTYRE I’m saying the design choice in general. I know that Edward is an imaginary engine but the design is an aesthetic I like.
