Quick video on how to change the default images for routes in Train Simulator 2020. You can also use this method if you are missing image thumbnails in the route menu also... See below for important information
Main Train Simulator Folder:- C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common
ailworks
Route Information Folder:- C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common
ailworks\content\Routes
To find Route ID:- Open NameMyRoute.exe
Call new image:- image.png
Image size:- 256 x 144 pixels

Can you rename the image file to image_old in the folder as opposed to deleting?
