As an Indian, I always admired the prime ministers of India who have ruled the country. Pandit Nehru will remain the world leader and India’s first Prime Minister with bright vision of India 🇮🇳. I am voting BJP but has always admired our PMs. There will always be different ideologies because this is the country of 140 Crores people. if India was to become secular democracy then why it was partitioned? jinnah and muslims wanted pakistan and so if pakistan can make its country an islamic republic then why india should not become bharat, the land of hindus? and yeah this chaiwala took our country 30 years ahead of time than your secularist democrats couldnt do. Pandit Ji was a Great man.

I will always say this - Nehru was not the person Congress portrays him to be. He was not a liberal, he was not an elite, and he never shied away from dharma. He was a staunch nationalist. He removed the words "socialist" and "secular" from the constitution's original draft that BR Ambedkar had added at first. It's ironic that his own daughter added them back during the emergency. He was the one who decided the framework of the Indian constitution. He was the one who decided that Tiranga will be the Indian flag, Ashoka Stambh will be India's national emblem, Vande Mataram will be India's national song and Satyameva Jayate will be India's motto. When he launched Doordarshan, he was the one who decided that the line Satyam Shivam Sundaram will be in it. Even though Ambedkar strictly wanted Indian government to be away from religious practices, he did Shakti Puja every time Indian Army made an advancement. He was the one who decided that beef will be banned across India, something only Modi did after him. And even then Modi could only get cow meat banned. Nehru had cow, bull, ox, buffalo, everything banned, and that too without anyone protesting against it. His only two faults were being idealistic on Kashmir and not trusting Sardar Patel on Chinese diplomacy. But other than that he was staunchly nationalist, an image of him that Congress has eliminated with time so that they can suit their minority appeasement ideology. If he was a pseudo-secular appeaser like Congress portrays him to be, then why did India, a very strongly religious country at the time, vote him with full majority 4 times? Congress has done a character assassination of Nehru far more than BJP could ever do, and just like how we distanced Sardar Patel and Lal Bahadur Shastri from Congress, we should do the same with Pandit Nehru.
