Yeah my head falls off too when in a social situation.

I actually own one of the original body chan dolls and it's amazing. I really improved on drawing anatomy in perspective. It's super nice to first decide on the pose and then look at it from differnt angles. the original doll moves more realistic and it doesn't fall apart. I can only reccomend it (if you've got he money).

While the neck does look abnormally long on the posable doll I do think it might be because the doll is more "anime" style. Which if you really look closely at Japanese anime style the characters necks are often longer than we are used to. In fact in many Japanese animes if the character has a short neck or really small eyes it indicates that that particular character is either evil or devious.

I think the idea with the laser scissors is to make a mark on the other end of the paper so that you have a fixed point to aim for... probably still won’t work that well. :P

You did use the scissors wrong... imagine you have a really big piece of paper and you want to cut a straight line.. you can mark the point where you want to end up.. than you can check that the red line touches the mark and than you’ll get your straight line

I think for the last one you were supposed to draw a line with a ruler first, and then make sure the Lazer is constantly lined up with it and cut.

I think I've got it. Maybe you place a dot on the paper for where you want the cut to end, then just keep the laser focused on that dot while you cut along the beam. That still sounds potentially problematic.

Not sure if someone else has already said this, but the first item you showed, the writing tablet, has a name brand called the "Boogie Board." We use ours as a sort of memo pad for notes/dates. They're sort of a little one trick pony, but still pretty neato.

I've been using a writing tablet for years and I love them. I was hysterical when you were so taken aback by what it was. I buy the Brand Boogie Board. You can even store your notes on your pc on some of their versions!

I think you just got a bootleg figurine from wish. I have the actual body chan and the neck proportion was actually fine. The figure also posed better and did not break as easily as yours. A lot of people say the neck is just long for an anime art style but no neck is seriously that long, even in anime. For a few dollars though, I guess the wish figure is fine since you get what you pay for, but I prefer the actual model since it helps with my drawing better. :)

I have those figures, except mine are high quality, they aren't sold any more, and they are more realistic. They also come with more hand poses and props, though they aren't the proper ones you showed in you video. They are awesome and I have really improved my anatomy with them.

"I can't use this as it's for right handed people.. and I'm a lefty.. how rude!" *literally me my entire life* (I can do some things with my right, but not the major "handed" things like super neat writing or cutting..

the 1/2 glove is also useful for drawing (graphite & colored pencils)

I think the toy you were thinking of with that light pad was a MagnaDoodle! I used to love those things! The cord was always so short too Jeez. LOL That device looks like it would be fun to play with and you could always snap a picture with your phone to save it! As for that glove those also help cancel out your Palm when you're drawing on a phone/tablet! I need to get one of those! I also have an official Body-chan and she's far more sturdy than that. Easily posable and her neck doesn't look that whack! A small one like that is like 25~50 USD (last I checked) and they're pretty good for quick poses! And I'm always surprised by lefties who can't work right handed scissors! I'm a natural lefty but I've used my right hand for scissors and other tools as long as I can remember. 😅 I dislike most 'left handed' tools because they hurt to use. Back in my 90s school computer lab classes I used to lie that I was right handed so the teacher would stop putting me on the god awful giant teacher computer with a left handed mouse. *bleh* 😱

The "half a glove " u can use it when you draw with grafic pencils . U know that time when u draw something in pencil and then u get it all over your little finger? Well u can use that for preventing those situations

It is a knockoff, and that's one of the reasons all the limbs seemed elongated and kept falling apart. The real figures by Bandai are light years better, and worth the money for the quality.

My husband and I have that engraver, he bought it a few years ago before we got married. It works on soft metals as well. Useful if you do a lot of group activities like we do (ex: he's a DJ and we regularly play shows in the summer so it's helpful for not getting our gear stolen since it's got our names on it).

Thank you for testing those posing figures. I've seen them all over the place and they were pretty expensive. Good to know I don't need them. Good videos 😊

The feet of the gray model thing, to me, are great because that’s how dancers feet are. Really flexible arches and metatarsals.

the point with the laser on the scissors is that you can mark the middle of the paper on both sides (like by measuring) and you don't need do draw a line. You just adjust the laser to the point and start cutting.

On the smudge glove/half glove: it's a good thing if it's a bit snug when you first get it. The most common type of material used for those gloves will stretch out a bit over time, but if it's too snug to be comfortable, you can soak it in water and then pull it around a glass or water bottle while it dries to loosen it up.

I engrave my tools and other belongings around my yard , shop and trailer park .

I bought one of those boards for a autistic student I worked with. He loved it for practicing his letters during work time and doodling during his free time! It is great for young children and students with special needs.

those laser scissors would actually be super helpful with sewing if they were on thread snips. it can be quite tricky determining which stitch needs cutting and an extra light source is exactly what most use to help. not it's intended design but still somewhat useful. love your videos.😊

I LOVE the little Boogie Board thingy! I use it for AAC all the time in places where I can't use a device and where I don't have a notebook that's easy to carry with me for communicating. As long as lighting is good, it's very easy to jot a quick thing down on to tell people things real quick. I have mini ones that just fit in the pocket. I also used it heavily when I worked at the library behind the front desk. I had to jot down things like pages printed and whether it was black and white and how much the computer said the cost was because I couldn't ring them up until AFTER they got their stuff and after you click "print" literally all the info disappears..... Most people could remember it for some reason, but that was hard so I wrote it down on the Boogie Board as I went along in the transaction and erased everything after the transaction was over.

I got one of those gloves with my GHD hair curler! haha I need to get one of those tablets too, handy!

Cedeea No that is being cross dominant. Ambidextrous people are fluent in using both their hands for all their work where as cross dominant people use one hand for certain chores and the other for the rest.

I lovee lovee how you are really not negative like all the wish reviews that just start with like pissy additude expecting a high quality things. One thing I must say is that the glove thing is originally not for digital artist, Ik because I've seen it on ebay when it just started selling and I've been wanting to buy myself, but for sketch book smudges. The only con of it would be that your hands starts to get really sweaty quickly.

Hi Chloe! I bought the engraver too and found it to be handy when i want to make painted lines look lighter or smudgy, or taking off paint from my artwork. I dont use it to anything else though, didnt find it so handy to like writing etc. I wonder how it would make patterns on dried clay. Thats something im going to try next 😊

i;ve had the same problem, but here lately, when i click on the NS bell, a pop up will appear and say something to the effect that you will be notified on SOME videos (so not all videos)

I have bought one of the figure drawing models from wish in the past. I made sure to order one that was labeled as the brand that normally does sell for 80 bucks on Amazon. It was still a lot cheaper and was really great quality. I can tell from the packaging you clearly got an off-brand version of the poser.

We have those tablets at work. We use dramatically fewer post it notes now. It’s really handy.

That first tablet thing you got was really cool and I have seen it before! They have it in this Harry Potter restaurant close to my house and they use it so you can record your order.

I remember those hexagon boards!!! They were so fun but I know what you mean, they had those tiny little plastic pens on a string and the pen could only just reach the other side of the tablet 😂😂

I went to look at the links in the description and the stuff you use is pricey, but that tablet looks awesome. I would buy that if I ever had that much money. That seems easier to draw Digital stuff, since it has a pen. I have been told to get one though.

Oh my god. That first one you showed I remember following the company that made a demo of those, made a kickstarter which failed then disappeared forever a few years ago. I was super into it because the screen was e-ink.

That half glove is pretty good for sketch and charcoal artists (getting all that stuff on the hand)

That running sound in the background kind of scared me because I'm wearing headphones, I thought someone was running in my house in the middle of the night.
