Trying To Calm Wife On The Last Day Of Our Son’s Moving Out

We parents must always remember that every step our children took towards being independent we felt a bit sad. It’s natural and normal to feel that way. Both of you have so many homes to go to. Your daughter, your son. Never feel these stray comments. We are all standing by you. Much much love and best of luck to the children.

No! ,for these kids ,for making life easier for them, they had been doing trucking, selling newspapers, being part of day care, standing at the cash counter for hours,....what not ?.It was the hardest thing for me to see Momma Zaid crying. After all these hardships, when both of them are getting old ,having history of heart problems ,they don't deserve this .If living alone is the last option, they should come to Pakistan .Food &Medical Care is not the problem but emotionally they seem shattered .They have their relatives &siblings in Pakistan .Spend time with them .DON'T LET YOUR KIDS to celebrate FATHER'S DAY &MOTHER'S DAY.... .I know Papa Zaid will be PRETTY ANGRY at me but after all we are YOU TUBE FAMILY.

@@attiyatauqir1713 when our daughters get married and leave home, we parents are emotionally shattered but for a while till we accept it and then life comes back to normal. No parent, including me, has a right to blackmail children by telling them how hard we worked. Children were brought into this world by our decision. That’s the circle of life. Man is not that weak, that’s how god has made us. So anything we parents do for our children is our duty and responsibility. We dream of our children standing on their two feet in our lifetime, which is why it is essential we let them go and experience life and learn with our blessings. It is ABNORMAL and a tradition we have adopted because we were an agri based society. So everyone lived on their lands and hands were needed to till the lands and help. City life is just maybe a 100 year old thing and very unnatural. During the times of our prophets and before that, sons when they came of age were sent out to learn, to fight, to trade including our dear Prophet (PBUH) Hazrat Ali said “your children are made for another times”. This sense of possessiveness is most abnormal. Now for uncle and Aunty, they have the most loving caring children. If Aunty and uncle were sad that is a sign that they love each other so much. Their reactions didn’t come from a sense of hurt but a normal reaction. I have one son who left for studies 5 years back and ongoing for higher studies. We are emotionally very very close and in today’s world with internet and whatsapps we stay fully connected. I want my son to go walk his journey. There’s no sadness and we absolutely never emotionally blackmail our child. Remember a happy child is what we parents always want.

@attiya I don't agree with you. We parents bring up our children for the sake of Allah and it's Allah who reward us and provide us. Parents should not depend on their children but should have faith in Allah. It was their duty to raise their children similarly Children should be attentive to their parents need. Living in a separate house doesn't mean that children don't love their parents anymore. It's a circle of life. In Islam it's not obligatory to live with parents nor parents can force their children to stay with them. It's cultural thing that parents force their children to stay with them even if it cause toxicity in relationships.

Your children should be proud of your love and forward thinking attitude. There is hiqmat in allowing our kids to strike out on their own. Good luck to them in this new chapter of their lives. Best wishes for the two of you, it's an exciting new chapter for you as well!

It's okay to cry momma Zaid. I did that too when my 2 kids left for college and never really came back home. But now we are happy that both are happily married, own their house, car etc. Concentrate on your travel, hobbies, excercise, eat healthy, go on cruise and enjoy your freedom finally! 😉

You are very nice and genuine people and you have raised your children really very well . Absence makes the heart grow fonder. This step will definitely bring you closer to your children. You have always taught everyone to stay positive and in sha Allah, things will definitely work out for all of you. Big love and duas😍
