You guys really should have used cooking spray and spray the inside of the basket and also the food, helps everything not to stick and also crisp up

I wish the chat was more aware that saf and ty are adults and not just internet children that need babysat. if there's a glass of water on the table, you don't need to freak out that they're going to spill it on the computer- I guarantee they've drank something while using a computer before. if they use a knife - they are adults with a kitchen and have cut things with knives before. you wouldn't expect someone to wear gloves while cooking eggs for breakfast, why freak out because they do it on camera. you just gotta chill out and let them live

i agree, thats why i think it would be good to have someone else monitor the chat and like just read out loud the fun bits for them to react to or smt. It would also stop from distracting saf every 2 seconds, I feel like she gets so stressed or totally out of whats happening in the stream when she is tries to focus on the chat

I love how the whole bingo thing has gone from something fun and lighthearted to straight up psychological warfare between Safiya and the Chat

In Tyler's absolute defense, he didn't say Pillsbury ToadBoy. It was Carly behind the camera who said that. Tyler merely got stuck on Pillsbury toe lol

it stresses me out that the chat puts so much pressure on safiya and tyler... honestly i could live with not having the chat at all

I think we're all getting a little too paranoid about handling raw eggs. I wash my hands before cooking and will wash again after handling. Pretty sure that's sufficient for the home cook.

I'm pretty sure that's how you're supposed to do it. Unless you have to be more careful for specific personal health reasons. I think the issue is that Safiya and Tyler don't seem to have access to a sink to wash their hands, hence the gloves.

Also the biggest worry about salmonella with eggs is that it’s more likely on the outside, and store bought eggs are already washed/sterilized so in general it’s not very common.

@@emilykpaige thats actually why its the US is more likely to get salmonella. you shouldnt wash eggs unless you need to use them soon or you'll have to refrigerate them to avoid bacteria growing.

@@Heeyitsmika it's both, you can get salmonella from both the inside and the outside of an egg. There were some big salmonella outbreaks and diff countries had dif responses. As long as you consistently refrigerate/don't refrigerate its good

these are the only livestreams that i watch from beginning to end every time. I usually skip people's livestreams' intros until i find the actual content from the title lol

The chat is a bit wild. Seems like it’s gone to a pushy/judge mental place. I suggest picking times to engage with it rather than continuously having someone reading it. The breaks while the stuff was air frying would have been a good time to check chat, and then you could put it away while you prep and taste the next item and then end with some chat engagement. I’d prefer 90% activity to 10% chat engagement personally.

Agreed. Honestly they could take just one look at the chat per stream I wouldn't even be mad at it. I feel like the chat takes more than it gives.

Eggs produced and sold in the US are thoroughly washed before being packaged. The likelihood of getting salmonella from just touching eggs is extremely unlikely in the States. Not to mention, eggs already come with a natural coating (that's destroyed in the washing process) that is excellent at preventing contamination. But the FDA said that wasn't enough, despite the rest of the world not washing their eggs presale.

You know salmonella can be inside the egg right? Mainly in the egg white but also in the yolk. That's why you're not supposed to eat raw egg.

@It's Liss you can easily get salmonella from raw flour as well. The raw flour the main reason why you can't eat raw cookie dough

America is still one of the only countries that don't consume raw eggs and are scared of salmonella within the eggs.. but salmonella is actually really rare to get from a raw egg. You're more likely to get it from unwashed hands after handling meat, and raw flour.

As a kid I would go to the hen house and that sucker would go straight from the nest to the pan 😂

My oven has a convection setting but by the time it preheats I can have my food finished in the air fryer. That’s the main difference for me.

Unpopular opinion here, but I’m not a fan of the bingo. Only because everyone was trying to force it so much that it was taking away from what you guys were doing in the moment. I think if it was organic instead of incessantly being prompted by the chat, it would be more entertaining.

Same. The last couple streams have been feeling more chaotic and, for me, less fun and more stressful to watch. Chat has been pushing and pushing, and it seems like Saf &Tyler should focus a little less on chat and more on what they are doing (especially when whoever is reading chat then completely misses what is going on and what the other person just said). I know that the tagline is "No Method, Only Madness", but this madness is getting to be the less fun type. :/

Future tip: Doing egg, flour, egg, chips makes it more likely to fall apart and not stick to the cheese stick. Skip the first egg dip and just do flour, egg, chips. You can double bread by doing an extra egg then chip dip after the first time. Also it's easier and less messy to bread if you use one hand for wet and one for dry. Also using chips as breading to fry is not uncommon or new. You can also use crackers and cereals too

I wrap Oreos in two tablespoons of premade Toll House chocolate chip cookie dough, from the tub, and bake it according to the cookie dough packaging. It's so delicious, and the oreo sort of changes into what I imagine edible velvet would be. I don't make more than one per person, but they're amazing. I might try this air fried oreo sometime.

The pancake batter for fried Oreos isn’t a hack, that is how they are actually made. Along with other fried desserts like fried candy bars, fried cookie dough etc

Most of Tik Tok hacks are not actual 'hacks'.

If pasta chips is what i think it is, we already have that since early 2000s in indonesia. it's usually macaroni or the small twisty one. and it's usually seasoned with super spicy powder. it used to be a staple high school snack, but (as we've all became adult now lol) you can find it anywhere nowadays. one of popular brand is makaroni ngehe

These streams get me through 20 minutes on the StairMaster. Man, I love you guys live.

Thank you all so much for doing this every week! 💛 After watching this my partner helped me make a vegan/gluten free version of the mozz sticks hack🥰 I have a disorder that effects all my connective tissue-so everything we’re made up of lol It effects my GI,heart,blah blah - but especially my bones and muscles; So on harder days where I can’t use my body like I’d wish-we rewatch streams and figure out ways to do/make some of the amazing projects from the streams together 🥰 love,Cait and Gabe💛

Watching safiya smack the completely intact dough container was the first time I laughed since like last week.

I love the air fryer for veggies! Especially Brussel sprouts is gets them nice and crispy!

I love that Saf refers to viewers as chat, just everyone watching the stream is chat. And if we didnt have a name for the fan base before, we do now

I love the Age of Empire stream, that was my favorite computer game as a kid and as an adult I love watching people play games so it's a great combination of content for me. Also I'm pretty sure Ro made those noodle chips and they were awful, more olive oil seems to be the trick.

Beignets are french donuts that were popularized in america through cafe dumonte in new oreleans's french quarter

We use to do chese like that in the 80s and 90s when I was little but we'd get a block of cheese, cut it about half the size and put homemade crushed chips, sooo good.

Lol as a Canadian who spent 13 years of school in French immersion I'm like duh? But I have to realize most of the USA doesn't know french, pity.

The cheese sticks need to be 100% coated in flour first, you should have redipped two or three times, then final in the chips, and those could have been run through a food processor, it makes a much better final product

Make a glaze with powdered sugar & liquid (lemon juice with lemon oreos) for outside of dough after cooking. Will add flavor & moisture
