Nice to see a buffet video from you. It's expensive for me but seeing so many people there, I think many can still afford it comfortably. Putting myself into shoes of someone who is loaded, I can enjoy the meal much better 😊. If $70 to the richer folks is like $7 to me, the meal is really worth it 😁

i personally think $62 is overpriced for an afternoon buffet - i was expecting a wider selections but surprised to see not that many. I live in Vegas and buffets here are very common and the price ranges from around US$40 which is like S$55 still less than the $62 u guys just paid for plus it includes prime ribs, crab legs, and all kind of seafood:) But glad u guys get to experience it. You never know unless u try:)

The good thing about afternoon tea buffet is you can just skip lunch and dinner, then it’ll be more worth it. And actually Singapore hotel buffets are all quite expensive... in my opinion.

Actually the price is pretty standard nowadays for hotels afternoon tea bah… this one has quite a good spread… Fullerton Bay has lesser variety although very good in taste n ambience… Carousel specializes more in local favs, Lime is pretty good too…

Actually, if you compare the variety of food and the amount you can get (which is unlimited), $60+ per pax is considered relatively inexpensive. There are many hotel afternoon/high tea which charge between $40-$60 per pax and yet the variety is perhaps only one third of what is shown in this video and there is only 1 serving ie: that one tray of food is all you get for the entire session, which can be quite little. So based on variety and quantity, this looks like a better deal.

Food variety are good but as said price was on the high side for afternoon tea buffet

Quality seems good. Yeah agreed the ambience was kinda distracting and noisy and since u are paying quite abit , expectation of the ambience wasnt met haha. Well if price point wasnt much of an issue i think its worth it. Maybe i will go once every 6 mths

@@creyji afternoon tea is the slightly more expensive cos it serve more filling items like what this video explains the difference between hi tea and afternoon tea. I tried their afternoon tea which is around 12pm to 3pm type at $20+ per pax. It's good but not wow for me and my family in term of taste because my mum is traditional nonya. But for the price I think it's a very good deal that's worth mentioning. The hi tea which is like 3pm to 5pm, I never tried before. Maybe some day I will give it a try but I got gastric so 3 to 5pm not my usual eating time so it will require me to special plan n adjust my schedule for meals so I don't end up gastric pain for eating at different time frame. I do recommend that restaurant too. I think they got multiple location? I only went to the NUH outlet as its near my house.

Each paying guest(6yo and above) will get 2 beverages, from a list of TWG tea, coffee or iced favourites. Topup only applies to some of the beverages, e.g. Golden latte, Iced flavoured tea, Artisan sparkling tea and hard coffee and tea...

I think the price is pretty average, i had a high-tea one at Fullerton Bay and is was even more expensive, but service and quality of the food make it up to the amount i paid.

Only Ikea food for 24 hours?

Not too bad, considering a single piece of tart/cake cost $6 to $10+ . Even a single scoop of ice-cream cost $5 to $10+ nowadays. However if you can't eat much, there is really no point to go to buffet (in fact, any buffet).

Yes. Iz expensive. Food are nice but will not be the hotpot buffet style where I can wack until my money is worth. Iz more of enjoy the experience bah...

Definitely not worth the price. Might as well go to royal palm dinner buffer where there's a lot of dessert also over there and always 1 for 1 so you only pay $50 plus for 2 ppl

This is more like High Tea...instead of Afternoon Tea. Normally, Afternoon Tea is more a relaxed atmosphere with full table service. Guess it's more a marketing gimmick calling it Afternoon Tea. Can add extra $10 to the price :)

I love your humor🤣🤣🤣. But why for $62.00 per pax, there is No smoke salmon salad or salmon open faced sandwich. Not even Bo Bo cha cha as local delight. I am sure as Singapore already opened for group dinning there will be more afternoon high tea venues with better pricing . I think a more down to earth price is $42.00 . 🙏 Thank you.
