Today i went to Granville island located in Vancouver Canada
Granville island has a famous public market that sells foods, fruits, pastries, meats, cheese, hand made items and more.
Located in the public market there is Lees donut. Lees donut is a famous donut place founded in 1979 and they make fresh donuts daily. The donuts are made daily and they only use ingredients from scratch. I believe this lees donut is their original location as they have many locations all over the lower mainland.
At lees donut, they have many donuts to choose from. They also have fritters and other pastries. I decided to get the cookie monster because it looked cool ahha :)
I tried the cookie monster donut from lees donut in granville island. The donut was very good and soft. It was still warm and was not too sweet. You can tell the donut was made fresh as it was not too oily or heavy.
I enjoy eating the donuts here as they are so good. Each donut is 3.25$ which can seem pricy but if you factor in the fact that they make it fresh and how soft it is then its totally worth it :)
