Coloring books are my favorite self care activity. Picking the page is fun, picking the colors is a low stress choice, and coloring itself is so meditative

I love that you colour so simply and it still looks amazing. Colouring has been my favourite thing to do since childhood (I'm now 61). After watching so many videos of talented colouring artists, I took a break because I felt so inadequate and disheartened that I couldn't get the hang of blending & shading. I need more angels like you to reaffirm that my basic style is still valid. You have yourself a happy new subscriber. 💙

This is probably one of my favorite videos youve posted in awhile. I watch every single video you post and I adore all of them. But i truely enjoy laying in bed before i go to sleep and watching stuff like this. I hope you do this whole coloring book. Maybe you could post another one of these in a couple weeks?? ❤❤

Honestly, I really needed this today. Less than two weeks ago I gave birth to my 4th baby. And I had some complications with the afterbirth. Long story short my recovery has been extended by at least a month in which I cannot pick up anything heavier than my new baby boy Simon. In addition I need to do some physical therapy so the last two weeks have felt flooded with doctors appointments. Luckily I have a ton of family and community support and I am mentally doing pretty well. I am just exhausted and in pain. Everyone in the family, especially the 2 year old, is struggling in their own way and even though I am resting to the best of my ability, things around here are a bit chaotic. P.S I have already bought from you several times over the many years I have been watching you and I am so looking forward to your coloring book for my own self care process.

I know you released this yesterday but I'm so glad I watched it today ❤ we have rain here in Southern Michigan, it's cold and wet and I had a good cry...not about the rain lol life can be hard and anxiety is so real. Then, I turned this video on, and all my stress and frustration went away. I'm so thankful God put your channel in my life.

A new coloring book!?! I can’t wait!😊

=) I was doing a page of "Create this Book." I've gotten back into it recently (thanks to Ashleigh Monet), and when I showed my mom, she filled in the one where you have to make your own prompt--she wrote "sparkles + gems," so I filled the entire page with gem stickers 😊

What an adorable book! I love coloring, it's one of my all-time favorite things. And, actually, coloring is what got me back into art as an adult :)

I love these. I’m laying in bed with a headache and just listening to your voice is relaxing. You always make me feel creative and craving to create. It’s been hard for me since I had my babies but I’ve started getting back into it almost 2 years after I had my youngest

So far, this year has been frustrating in that I caught a nasty bug from my husband which really knocked me down for a few weeks. Started feeling better then my husband caught a cold which of course I now have. So I've gotten nothing done, including art. Maybe trying some coloring books would help get me back into it and take my mind off how frustrated I am! Anyway, thanks for listening and the inspiration. Cute pages! The little animals inserted into each page are adorable. Yes please to more chill videos!

I am a daycare teacher and when doing art with the kids we always strive for process over product. It doesn’t matter if the end result looks nothing like what they were supposed to make, it’s all about letting them be creative and enjoy the process of creating something.

I'm so glad you did this again! I love how approachable this makes art feel, and these kind of videos really inspire me to create. Ps yes I drink milk, but I drink lactaid. My tummy doesn't like cows milk.

I’ve been waiting for more pages in this colouring book, it’s so pretty but not too difficult or too easy. I think I just need to buy it for myself 😂.

It is so relaxing to see you relaxing as you colored. I love to color! Fun & I can get lost in it. My 3 grandchildren & I enjoyed doing this together......but then they each one had the nerve to get older & didn't want to color with Nana anymore. 🤔 Oh that's right, this is what they are supposed to do, keep growing! Super cute! I have the same coloring book. Got it for Christmas so I colored along with this video. I love the just do it kind of thing going on no shadowing, nothing complicated just relaxing talking and coloring.

Watching this while cleaning my fountain pens. The first page made me want ramen then I started thinking of this really amazing bakery that also has drinks called belles bakery. It’s in a little Asian market in Columbus. Amazing! There is also a cute store with stationary.

Please do more of these and don't cut it as much. It's so relaxing just to hang out with you and watch you color in real time. Making your own coloring book would be so cool! I hope you do it.

Lately I’ve been drawing lots and working on my skills, it’s easy to fall into a mindset that every piece needs to be really good and rendered. So sometimes just doing easy coloring in a fun book like this is important, and it’s great for days you want to create, but don’t have time or energy for something elaborate! I just saw this cute coloring book on Amazon, I thought it was so cute! I think I’ll order it. Right now all I have are a lot of good colored pencils, but so much work on my hand and I get stiff fingers or a bit of a cramp. I need to invest color markers, the kind you have, for just these kinds of coloring books. I was given one with cats after I was recovering from a lumpectomy surgery and in bed for a few days (luckily no pain after surgery).. but I didn’t feel into coloring at the time. Now I have a few adult coloring books, my favorite is Steampunk girls. So much detail and I can go crazy with the colors. Thank you for sharing. 😁🩷

I love colouring in books. I don't colour often but when I do it is so relaxing. I'm trying to push my skills learning bokeh backgrounds. I do art and craft for the process but I find it difficult to give it away or sell it haha 😅 Beautiful work! Lovely colouring book!

It’s Perg-a-la, or Perg-o-la, Pergola, either way, but it’s mostly pronounced in a lazy quick way, Pergala. I have a covered pergola for more shade. Some are more open because some people love to grow flower vines on them too, that’s pretty. 😁 I grew up in a mostly Japanese community in L.A. county, so there’s a lot of little Japanese restaurants I’ve been to with my friends. Some of the Japanese restaurants are colorful or have earthy tone colors on the buildings . Good food too. 😁

I love to color in coloring books. I need to put my alcohol markers in an organizer but can’t find one like yours. Where did you find it?

This makes me miss authentic egg noodles. Being diagnosed with NCGS some six-seven years ago (which gives the same symptoms as coeliac disease, but without the antibodies and the physical damage to the digestive system), there are a lot of food I miss. Glass noodles can be really good, but sometimes you just want the real thing 💖

I'm definitely struggling with the idea that every piece needs to be finished and feeling like a failure if I do not finish a piece or if the finished piece does not look like what I wanted. I know I enjoy the process more than the finish, but I cannot get rid of the idea that the process is somehow not enough, even though I rarely even share any of my art anywhere...

I call these tasks easy reset tasks... like when you do a bunch of big projects, you need an easy thing to reset .... I find this relates to reading as well ... if you read an intense book, you just want an easy read to cleanse the pallet!!

It was nice to watch you color. I have been depressed so having difficulty getting myself to paint. Maybe a colouring book would be easier to work on.

Oh my gosh, MILK. Yes, I absolutely drink milk as an adult, although I hated it as a kid. Turns out 1% and skim milk just aren't that tasty, but 2%? YES. Wish I had known as a kid, I could have been better hydrated!

I love milk...as you do....I drink one or 2 glasses every day... On a really hot day if I've been outside a lot I love to come home drink 8 oz of water and then I have a glass of chocolate milk chillin in the freezer 😅

Maybe Amazon should consider offering printing for lefties! I mean all of these books are printed on demand… all they need to do is bind it on the right or left side as requested… it would be great!
