I run my own tiny Etsy store and packages get lost or stolen frequently. I am more than happy to replace or refund items and cover shipping costs because that's what you should do. A bigger company can afford it more than I can, there's no excuse for his behavior.

Even before covid took over 1 month to get to me from Arizona and I only live in Carson city NV. It's unfortunate to, because once I did get my huge order I did really like the products. Im still using them on my clients to this day and I have a huge reservation about ordering again in the future for sure. I did want to ask you a question about the base gel, mine smells like a few girls vomited in that tiny bottle after a week long Bachelorette party and a lot of tequila. It is absolutely horrendous. That's the only way I can explain it. The smell is so strong and nauseating that it makes me ill. I cover my face with my shirt and hold my breath. My nail clients even asked me not to use it which is fine with me. It works great though but omg the smell. And its even worse when its time to remove it with the drill. 🤢🤮 So, i guess I'm just curious if yours has a smell, i noticed that you didn't mention anything about smells of the products. The Shinee top coat is everything though. Of course I did write MANY times to him and his horrible customer service and nothing was ever resolved for me either so you are definitely NOT the only one with issues from enail couture. I've been doing nails almost 30 years now and I have NEVER had a shopping experience like this before or had a product make me get that sick to my stomach. I do want to end this on a good note though, and not about him, your nails are beautiful, your work is amazing and I love your videos. Girl yes!! Whether the shipping issue was his or not, there are better ways to handle unhappy customers. If you want your business to succeed, you need to listen to feedback and respect the people who are paying you for your so called quality products. Also, why is he so salty about bad reviews?? That’s part of business! I work in customer service and deal with angry customers frequently. The very basis of customer service is to turn an unhappy customer into a lifelong customer. Telling a customer “well you buy our product a lot so we’ll just deal with you next time” is so cringey.

I feel like she just handles things so well without hating like come on she is just my fav youtuber.

I totally agree with your CS issues. When a customer has a damage issue, the only thing the company should do is replace the item at no charge, or refund the price and let the customer keep the item. I agree that CS is the heart of a company and it is important to care about your clientele.

@@wioi if the company wants to send a pre-paid shipping label they can have the item back. Customer shouldn't have to pay for postage to return something the company should have done a better job packaging in the first place. For something like leaky monomer a reputable business will just resend a new bottle or refund without asking for the damaged item back because it's cheaper for them to not have to pay for a return label on something they can't even resell. Not like the post office even wants people shipping returns of leaky monomer bottles.

Customer service is very important to me. Hearing him say “she only has 1,000 views” as if that made her less than 🤦🏾‍♀️ He could have reached out to her and worked with her if she was doing something wrong 🤦🏾‍♀️ And so happy you gave an honest review about the product even though the owner is a mess 😂🤣

I’m sorry but even their websites looks so unprofessional. I’ve wanted to order from them before and I have backed out because I’m not even confident in ordering the correct item. The owner, Max, has been in a few videos with Suzie and every time he rubs me the wrong way. The way he talks about his 123Go nails, you would think he invented it and it’s the best thing on Earth. Especially how he talks poorly about press on nails. He acts like his nails won’t bend and crap, but they do. Just like press ons. Like I’m sorry but some of us are able to make press on nails last for weeks. 🙄 He needs to be humbled. Because he is FULL of himself and his company.

So, true. Max should done a video chat with the woman who said the nails were very flimsy so that he could see for himself or he could have sent a representative the Nails to check out. He does have a way of acting very childish and a bit conceited about himself and his products but he needs to remember that there are always things that can go wrong with shipping as well as manufacturing and packing nothing is 100% perfect also I have seen other videos where the same thing happens with the nails so you would think that he would really take that issue to heart before he damages his own image as well as the company's

I was one those who requested this so 😊 thank you! I wasn’t aware of his attitude until after ordering and just like you I got that same long disclaimer. I had become interested in doing my own nails prior to the stay at home order so it just turned out to be perfect timing. The shipping was taking forever, or at least to me it was, I emailed him and I ended up getting two day shipping through FedEx.... which I definitely appreciate. However none of the excuses his past actions which are probably indicative of his current actions 🤦🏽‍♀️ A great product does not excuse bad customer service. I appreciate your honesty and awesome tutorials

I agree, dude is Hispanic but uses plastic surgery to make himself Asian, which is his choice yeah, but still, creepy. Suzie, love her videos, but she made a mistake having him on & she does support a ton of small business owners in the biz w/o knowing they're not all in it to help others out, but themselves.

WOW. I use ENailCouture files but after seeing this he’s lost another customer. How can a “professional” nail tech not just criticize but blatantly shame another tech just because his product didn’t work for her? It’s called THICK SKIN Max. If you can’t handle bad reviews maybe look into a different career. Maybe as a drama channel? 🤔

it's unfortunate because max seems to have really good products but he's lost me with the attitude. i'd rather support a smaller, kinder company than someone like him. also, super mature review! :) you gave an informative and unbiased opinion which was really helpful, thanks!

Your voice is so soothing it’s like an asmr video and nail video in one- thank you for making these.

I love that you always are going through the Products.

To this day, none of my emails were ever answered. I get his newsletter twice a day every day though 🤷🏽‍♀️ and after that whole situation, I agree. That treatment was horrible. Kiara Sky is much cuter and way more professional.

Kiara sky doesn’t have the best customer service either. I ordered 200 dollars worth of glitter from them and hated half of them because they looked nothing like the online pictures on their Instagram or website, and didn’t match the descriptions. Sent them pictures after my call with them and they never replied. Not happy with them at all, especially since it was a giant order.

That man was really STRUGGLING to use AAVE 😂 does he even know where "bye Felicia" is from 😂

I ship stuff all the time via USPS and he is right that once the package is dropped off with the PO how it is handled is out of his hands. However, shipping a bottle full of liquid should be bubble wrapped and shipped in a box, not a bubble mailer. That was negligence on his part. And, if he's shipping priority, that automatically comes with shipping insurance so if the items are damaged upon delivery he can file a claim with usps, ship out replacement products and he won't be out any money or product. That's just bad business And edit to add: calling a customer "ratchet" publicly on your social media platform is not only unprofessional but very RUDE!

I’m sooooo glad you did this and included the clips of that disgusting,racist FB live. There’s no way his business should still be up and running after that. If that situation wasn’t bad enough, a multitude of people having purchase/shipping issues with orders and them(him) taking measures to ensure that it’s not their fault if anything happens to your packages, it’s sad.

Well, Susie gives off a stuck up vibe in her video too. She always gives back handed compliments when working with cheaper stuff, but not everyone can afford professional products like she has or even the access to it without a license.

I know that makes me sad, I think she just being too nice maybe? Or he knows she's big so he treats their encounters differently. Like that video they did together with his nail foil transfer! His product bottle had a misspelled word plus the transfer foil job he did was not great LOL

I know it is a long time for me to comment on this video, just saw it. Anyway, now I know why I LOVE to watch your videos, your real dedication to your viewers. Your professionalism comes right through! Even though you had issues with this company you still went ahead and did this video for your viewers when asked and you spent your own money and you were very pro about how you explain your issue and yet you give the most wonderful comments about the product! I hope you're on his payroll because you're vouching hard for someone who has tons of people with firsthand experience dealing with his unprofessional attitude. I’ve only ever seen him in a NCE video, but he gave me bad vibes. There are a lot of awesome male experts and brand owners in typically women dominated spaces, but he definitely gives off the vibe of expecting success and praise just because he managed to find of niche in one of these spaces. I only watched the one video, but he also seems like a culture vulture? 🤷‍♂️ I’m not interested enough in his products to expend anymore energy trying to figure out if my instincts are right or not. It seems like my aversion to him saved me some $$ though.

YES! Also, all of his product have "designed by Max Estrada" on them. EVERY SINGLE PRODUCT. Not just on the kit or original packaging. It's every little piece of anything he sells. Which to me is too much. He's definitely a culture vulture and thinks way too highly of himself.

I haven’t had issues with ordering and I do love the products but after seeing that live when he said what he said. Then seeing her video. I was shocked. Then I had seen a live shortly after that and he brought up people came for him for saying “ratchet” but yet never apologized for saying it. Just snarky about how people came for him for saying it. I decided he wasn’t the kind of person I wanted to support any more. Especially after the “if it’s lost in the Mail or you have issues it’s on you.” That’s not customer service at all. So disappointing, his products are awesome and he could go far if he would keep his mouth shut and do right by his customers. Maybe she got a bad batch of 123 go nails who knows but at least investigate instead of insult n right off the bat

I used this system and the second time I used them, one of my nails bent. Yes it is user error but his response to the criticism was obnoxious. I also don’t like that insane no return no refund no responsibility policy. Gives no customer zero security and you only get that notice once you checked out and it’s too late if you don’t want to agree to that policy.

With a horseshit no return/no refund policy like this considering the high-end prices he charges for his products, you can forget it. That policy provides zero assurance to trusting customers - first time or those returning. That’s also totally sketchy. If my product is so amazing I’ll bend over backwards to my customers to prove it, and that starts from the minute they purchase my product until they’ve experienced it, then hopefully after. If you care about your customers you care about their experience every step of the way, and you cultivate that to grow brand loyalty. This dude is so consumed about maximizing profit and minimizing overhead at his own detriment, and that’s before his nasty attitude and behavior can be factored in to things. Does this dude seem trustworthy? No. Are his items so incredible and unique with by consumer trust and good faith in these products that I’ll risk my hard earned money despite his no return/no refund policy? Hell no. Hell the fuck no. Does his brand and image inspire me to invest in his products? Again, fuck no. it’s always about the bottom line, but at least make me forget about that. He’s just a greedy, smug, emotionally crippled man child.

Exactly! I ordered like a week into this pandemic, and only at checkout was the shipping policy displayed. Every other website has that on the main page. It's a good think I really only spent $10 because I'd be more upset. Horrible customer service, makes you scared of ordering.

YalaRosei Ugh. That is such a horribly misleading way to treat a customer. When I see terrible policies and practices like this it immediately gives me pause about the product and company I’m buying from. It makes me wonder what is either so special or so terrible about their product to put these deceptive and “final” policies in place. Why do they want to offload the products so badly tto incorporate a policy that all but guarantees a transactional relationship with the customer instead of encouraging future repeat business with them instead? It’s easier to grow and successful business with people I have already purchased your items then it is to constantly be seeking new pools of first time in more than likely one time only customers. This is a textbook example of how not to operate if you want repeat business from your customer base, so long term sustainability will always be in limbo as a result. Dum. Move. Might as well include a disclaimer that he only cares about your money and not your customer experience or satisfaction for the items he’s hawking. He doesn’t care about what he’s selling to you at all, because if he did, he’d take pride in representing the items he sells to you instead of setting you up to stuck with crap product and no recourse. If he thinks this will give him a nice little retirement fund to look forward to one day, he’ll more than likely be very disappointed.

Customer service is everything. Thank you for your honest review of the products.
