In India we call this Goli soda . Goli means the marble that’s used in the soda bottle . We get it in glass bottles . In the northern part of India it’s called Banta . It’s a childhood summer drink of kids who grew up in the 80s and 90s 😇😇💖💖.

@@dmitrijvoitkevic6330 no it was quite inexpensive and my mom used to tell me that there used to be an old man who used to have a shop near her school and she used to drink it from there. The shop is still there and I have visited it too. It comes in different flavours like 🍊 and 🍋

Actually it’s based on an early British soda bottle design that the Japanese kept as a novelty and I believe the creator of the drink was from London

I personally think it tastes a lot like Ginger Ale or Green River just less powerful which I love! It's got a spicy taste to it and a hint of citrus. I think the problem comes to the fact that Americans are so used to overwhelming sodas like Coke and Pepsi that trying something that is just slightly less comes across as undersaturated and unremarkable.
