In this video, I try out food in a few legendary Irani cafes in Mumbai. Irani cafes are such a huge part of Mumbai’s food scene and no trip to Mumbai is complete without trying at least one of them. Since my brother was visiting, we thought we’d try out some of these cafes. Although I’m vegetarian and Irani food is more popular for the non veg food, I love trying the options I have there.
The Irani cafes in Mumbai serve some authentic, delicious Parsi food, and the whole experience with the old school ambience of these cafes is worth experiencing!

Ohh... so sad. The uncle (owner of Brittania & Co.) was really really nice person and was so down to earth. He was a true gentleman. He used to tell the journey of this restaurant with so much passion that anyone could feel that his heart is so close to this establishment and to the Parsi food. Even queen Elizabeth had sent her handwritten letter to this establishment way back. May his soul rest in peace!

Hi, Kritika. There quite a few Irani / Parsi cafes which remain to be given due recognition. Listing a few of them, kindly do the needful. Dorabjees, Cafe Yazdan, Cafe Vohuman (Pune). Rustoms, Imperial Stores (Mahableshwar).
You should definitely try Merwan's outside grand road station as well, especially the mawa cakes, have been a fan those since childhood 😍

Hey Kritika, did you use the external camera mic that you normally use or recorded your voice in mobile voice recorder? Because the audio was somewhat.a little bit off in today's vlog. I think you used ADAPTIVE NOISE REDUCTION or some similar effect to reduce the noise ( these effects usually makes the audio a little off and makes it robotic so that might be the case ) P. S. - Just a positive criticism from another fellow creator. ❤ P. P. S. - The vlog was too good.
