LiLee, as a mom, I feel so proud of you for being vulnerable and wanting to be an encouragement to others. The fact is that when we try out for things sometimes we don't make it and life and joy go on. Good attitude, girl!

LiLee - by not making the team, but still posting the video, you helped so many more people than you would have if you made the team. So vulnerable, and so brave of you. It’s these really hard moments in life that teach us empathy and remind us of how strong we are.💛✨

I love how you guys are showing a different side to your life and being real with your subscribers. It really highlights how life isn’t always perfect but I think that everything happens for a reason and that LiLee can focus on her Cheer at her club because if she improves from a backwalkovef to round off backhand spring backhand spring then she is capable of being an amazing cheerleader! You guys are an inspiration and your videos are the thing I look forward to after a tough week of school ❤️❤️

LiLee - I was cut from my cheer team my senior year. It was a team that I made the year before (and I made a lot of improvements between my junior and senior year). It was one of the most difficult things that I ever went through. Your worth is not determined by the expectations set by others and it took me a long time to learn that. Keep on going and you’ll make the necessary improvements you need for next season!

As a gymnast of 8 years, one piece of advice I can give for backhand springs is just locking your arms and practicing over and over, and working on upper body strength because it’s easier to lock your arms without them giving out when you have more arm strength! However you guys are going so great! Keep up the amazing work 💕

Ms. Lilly, as a former cheerleader at BYU-H & the University of Alabama, I just gotta say, “I’M SOOOOO PROUD OF YOU!”!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 What you did in 3 weeks is simply, 🤩spectacular. 🤩 Loved 💕it when you said, “I will have more than my Round Off, Back Tuck.” Attitude = Altitude! You inspired me more than you will ever know. Pray to Heavenly Father for help & at the same time WORK as if everything depends on you. You have a powerful mission on this planet Ms. Lilly. Take this pain 😢 & let it push you to new pinnacles of power 💪 ! You are !PHENOMENAL, young lady. Mind, Body, Fitness Expert, Blake P.s. Luke would be a awesome cheerleader. I know he loves musical theatre 🎭 & dancing. After college, I was an acrobat in the shows at Disney World at the Magic Kingdom. My tumbling skills help me get a spot on Mary Poppins cleaning crew, as a CHIMNEY SWEEP After 3 years at Disney I moved to NYC & worked as a performer there.💫 “The DREAMERS of today really are the ACHIEVERS of tomorrow. Most people have no 😢CLUE😢 all of the powerful components of the SPORT OF CHEER! 🤗 Cheer= Work Ethic, “I CAN” attitude, confidence, teamwork, fitness, networking opportunities, service opportunities, scholastic standards to keep your spot on the squad & sometimes Athletic Scholarships. 🤩 I truly love 💕 & 🙏 pray for y’all’s family ! 🙏 Your Eternal Brother & Follower, Blake 🤗

I’m glad you kept this video because by next year she will look back on this video and see how far she came and it really pays off. I started cheer my junior year and I had to work HARD. Because most the girls have been cheering since they could walk. Not only was I captain my senior year but after I graduated I got to become the cheerleading coach for the same team! This winter will be my second year as coach. Not everyone has a similar story with cheerleading but it is important to share. I even passed tryouts for another school! However cheering for two teams got to me mentally and so I left the bigger team stayed closer to my hometown it was a hard decision but cheerleading is hard. Seeing your progress in a short amount of time I can guarantee you that in a years time you will be on that team. My coach told me once “where there’s a will, there’s a way.” That is what pushed me everyday. Also I wanted to cheer like my mom did(I think we have that in common.)

She looked amazing, I have no doubt she’ll get it her SENIOR year that’s so exciting! To get that kind of tumbling in just a month speaks volumes for her work ethic and determination. I tumbled and the biggest part is getting out of your own head it took me so long to get over that fear when I was young that fact you did it in a month is astonishing! So happy that you shared this, such a strong young woman!

I think you were absolutely amazing and you are such an amazing girl! Thank you for encouraging me to try out for my schools student government I have been super nervous about it, especially about making it in but you have definitely helped me realize that it’s okay not to make it and as long as you try it is worth. It’s nice to see someone my age be truthful about things that happen and it is okay to cry but you were so mature about how you handled it and I am definitely ready now to try out for student government!

I Am So Proud Of You Lilee And Dw Because I Never Succeeded In My Dream Either,I Wanted To Become A GoalKeeper And Did Training At Home Thinking I Was Good,But When I Went To Play As A GoalKeeper Everyone Was Telling Me That I’m Not Good,And That I Need More Practise And So I Thought They Were Right,But A Wise Person Once Told Me That You Should Never Give Up Your Dream Even If Someone Tells You Your Not Good. Stay Strong My Fav Nen Girl.🥰❤️I’m Here For You If You Need It. -Zuzu.

Love the new intro I haven’t seen it yet it shows all their personality’s. And I know how it feels to tryout for something and not make it I tried out for my band Lead Team and didn’t make it I was very bummed bc it was a bit unfair but I learned from it and I’m already starting to browse ideas for next year on how I can be better. There is always next year you can try out and just work hard for it in spare time so you can make it next year. Never let anything discourage you just keep going for it next year I’m sure u can make it.

I have been doing cheer for almost 10 yrs now and a few tips i have is that with the two touch when you practice it make sure you have you middle splits good because it help stretch your hamstring and then the more you stretch your hamstring the neater and better they look and if they are going to be doing all-star i would defiantly invest in air mat cube to practice, a panel mat and inflatable gymnast mat cause it simulates the spring floor any way it really help me but every one is different

Not sure if you will see this, but LiLee you did so well. There must have been really tough competition. A tip from a former high school cheerleader really make sure that you focus on sharpness and arm placement. For example, I just noticed that in the fight song when it goes "Thor's hammer hits" that K-shaped motion needs to be sharper and make sure that your arms are super straight. Arm placement and sharpness are one thing that you can control no matter what. Flexibility, jump height, back handspring technique, those all come with time and experience that you just didn't have this year. Never give up trying out, I didn't make it my first time either but I tried again and made it. How well you looked this year means that you can only get better and I honestly think you will and will make it next year, so don't give up.

I’m no back handspring expert, but I just got my standing back-handspring as well. And Lilees handspring is so good, just one tip to make it amazing and perfect is, try and keep your arms straight and at your ears at all times. Because when I was watching her her arms were kinda bending and far apart. But other than that girly your backhand-spring looks literally amazing!! Also it’s oki u so tried your best and that’s all that matters, thanks for sharing it with us. And I’m not trying to say that your back handspring is bad in anyway, which it is not. Just tryna give you the tips I know

Hi Lilee! I have one recommendation as a 3rd year cheerleader. When I was learning my back handspring I had Velcro around my ankles and knees so that I would know if my legs came apart! It really helped me. Hope this helps!

Thank you for this! There are so many young people that try out and don’t make it and end up feeling less than they should. They look at success stories all over the internet and tv and so when they don’t make it they feel less than. It’s so important to show that no one is less than! You may need more practice or may need a different sport or just a different path and THATS OKAY! Thanks for demonstrating awesomeness despite not always having the success you wanted at this time. Takes so much courage to film that and you put helping others ahead of your own feelings. Again…thank you❤️

Omg I started getting the feels at the end!! I am 100% a person who would want my failures not to be posted and I am an adult - Lilee as a teenager is totally showing me up. Her progress while practicing has been tremendous and her attitude is amazing. She would totally do an amazing job if she tried out again but as someone who did a lot of musical theatre… I thought she is a strong dancer and was a good singer as well with that fight song… I’d love to see her consider theatre as well!! Great job to Lilee no matter what and I wish her well in all future endeavors!!

Lilee has such a wonderful attitude. I just wanted to throw in that if she decided to pivot and focus her efforts and hard work in another area of her life, that doesn't equate to "giving up." Being resilient after a rejection is what's important, even if you bounce back in a different direction.
