Frannie is 💯 correct! Wigs are addicting!! Also for some reason some women have problems wearing wigs bc of what other people will say. 🤔 But no women have problems wearing fake eyelashes or thick eyeliner or have fillers to plump their lips & botox & facelifts! Go figure!😮

Thank you for this video, good to see the difference between brand name wigs and less expensive off brand. At 60 I've decided it's time to add wigs to my wardrobe. I have a retro styled blond wig on the way to wear with a plaid jumper dress for a 60's retro look. I see MANY wigs in my future.

I have frontal Fibrosing Alopecia and have had to start wearing hair pieces to cover the top and sides. I also have a few wigs. Recently went with 5 friends for girls weekend, took all my hair pieces and wigs and it was a blast! Everybody tried on all the wigs and pieces. Had our wine … so much fun. I am very self conscious about my total baldness in half my head and the girls made me feel more comfortable with my fake hair. Thanks for all your wig info and videos.

I love seeing y'all together! I really appreciate you showing reasonably priced wigs. I am losing my hair gradually to a cancer treatment, and I am trying to learn all about wigs and how to enjoy them and afford them! I like the long wigs because my hair has always been long. I have not bought one yet but will soon. I love Sharon in the long wig! Both of you look great in both blond and brunette shades!

Agreed, the last one was really great on sista; seems like a nice way to transition to the gray or lighter colors. The lighter shades make you both look terrific. Blonde with the darker roots looked lovely on Frannie-Shorter style especially, except the last two from Amazon. Thanks for helping make my wig journey both insightful & joyful. I wish I had sisters like you gals. Oh and mom is terrific fun too.

I really did like the long Amazon wigs too, but I would need to do something with the part. I have seen videos where people use eye shadow and pluck around the part to make it look more natural. I think I'll try those techniques to see if I can make them work. You are observant to notice the new intro! I wish I could take credit, but I hired someone to do it.😁❤️

Loved watching you and your sister trying on wigs. The first ones you tried on were perfect on the two of you, they looked so natural. I was surprised when you said you had a wig on in the beginning of the video, because it looks absolutely natural. I would never have known you were wearing a wig. I actually liked the two inexpensive wigs that were long. You both looked great and I loved the color of them, too. I bought one similar and wore it on vacation because it was such an extreme change from my short hair, but it was lots of fun, too. Thanks for all the info and sharing such a fun video...I had to come back and edit this comment because I wrote it while watching. The wigs you're wearing at the end of the video also look fantastic and very natural. Your sister's hair is shorter with that wig by Raquel Welch and looks very flattering, your "hair" looked great, too...loved the highlights in the wig you had on. Looking forward to even more of your videos.

TY for making this video ❤ I watched a lot of these tutorials and I learned that just one big slinging shake downward is better than a bunch of small ones that tangles the hair. Also have clean hands to avoid transferring oils, makeup, etc

@@FranniesHair Sure! I love to learn 😻 I also learned how to gently wash and condition a wig and hang it upside down to drip dry without combing to keep the set. When dry the big shake makes it almost look brushed. A wig can be worn like 18 times before washing or whenever it needs freshening. I bought a tall wig stand with adjustable height (Wish) to work on them and it’s very relaxing in front of the TV at night. I’m just buying cheap wigs for now to practice on. But they’re looking really good so far! I just cut very little at a time because the fibers don’t grow back! Some T-pins to hold it on the black head and a bristly skinny brush and crochet cap came with it. I also buy toppers and wear a long and short one to look like Jaclyn Smith on Charlie’s Angels. Lol. I wrecked my hair with black dye bc I mixed with brown and did my whole hair length and then used a leopard electric hair cap that was HOT!!! Hair has been falling and breaking at an alarming rate for months so I thought I’d give my hair a break (no pun intended!) while it looks so frizzy. Thanks for subscribing! I haven’t added anything in 8 years. I just turned 64 so I’m glad I did the videos when I did. You and your two sisters are so beautiful and I feel like I’m there with ya’ll at a wig party 🎉. 👰‍♀️. It’s great seeing the wigs before I buy. I used to do ballroom dance so wigs, lashes, and bling are my thing and I’m trying to feel confident in them. I’m surprised at how many people wear wigs, even teenagers. Also, black women are experts in everything! When I go out I notice womens hairstyles and condition and try to spot wigs. I think women on Fox News wear them. I also think Melania Trump is wearing them and I saw one just like her hair. It never looks like a bad hair day. I loved the first two blonde wigs. The blonde just brightens the face and the curls on the one that your sister loved are adorable. The short blonde wig with the bangs really is cute. I also liked the last ones although one was a bit too ashy. They were all nice but those stood out for me.

​@@FranniesHair I have a few from Amazon. I thinned mine out and plucked the part carefully to make it look more realistic. Dry conditioner helps with frizz and tangles.

@Frannie's Square yes, I use my concealer and just put a small amount on the part. I looked up videos on how to make an inexpensive synthetic wig look more natural. They can be nice pieces, just gotta give them a little love 💕. Love your channel ❤️

@@FranniesHair I have seen women pluck the part some not too much👀and made it irregular to mimic a real part. I’m going to get some got-2-be glue to hold in a spot at my part. Wiggly wigs make the clips hurt especially since my hair is thinner!

thanks girls. This video was so much fun to watch. I have not purchased any wigs because My hair is now as white as snow. I have looked but white wigs are no common. I am now encouraged to buy different blond or light brown ones so thank you both for encouraging a 73 year old bird to become a wrinkly bombshell lol.

Lol. There are white colors, if you want that...88 (platinum white, 1001 white gray) for example. I really like this wig. Super cute style and color. Awesome price. A bit “nesty” at the crown but I just combed a bit of hair back over it and added a clip. Perfect solution. Thank you for reviewing this budget friendly wig. It’s the first one I’m keeping from Amazon. 😊Your video really helped. I had sent back 4 others that I had just chosen off the Amazon site without seeing any reviews.

I love wigs. I began wearing them near full time this year. I love shaking out the wig, slipping them on and out the door. I feel polished and confident. I began experiencing hair loss after hormonal issues and medication reactions. I go with Paula Young wigs, which I like I never thought of Amazon!

I love them too...it really has shortened my morning routine, and I never could have styled my hair as well as the wigs are styled.😁💕

i actually love the $15 "Meg Ryan" wig on Frannie keep that one! And that last one on Sharon was my favorite for her! Even the color.

Those wigs are gorgeous, they don't look like wigs at all, there so real. And you ladies looked fabulous. 🥰🇬🇧🎃

Thoroughly enjoyed watching this video with you two! I just got through watching it and it made my day. Sharon’s facial expressions are great especially that last one with the dark bangs. I’ve seen others tease the bangs some to make them blend. I don’t know if that would have helped those or not. Anyhow I really enjoy your videos Frannie, especially the ones with your Mom and sisters. 😊

High end wigs all nice. Long, curly Amazon is pretty on you. I would put a square headband to camouflage part, or sunglasses on top. Other than that, if I could afford two nice wigs, life is too short for Amazon wigs. I do think teens could have fun with them. I taught school for 25 years so I know about budgeting. I have a large collection of wigs, but I’ve been at it for 5 years. I have a few Paula Young’s. Some of hers are very nice and getting better. My first priority is comfort. Sharon would need to teach in one for a day to know if it’s comfy. I think she should consider something like Godiva’s Secret Candice topper. Also their two scrunches together, one curly and one straight. Those would be so cool and comfy in classroom. I like your hair long or shoulder length. Frannie has a winning look with that wonderful bob. Love you two together!
