Me. I'll be the one this time. Glossier colors work for me. (Well the blush and lip colors, I haven't actually tried to foundation.) The thing about Glossier colors is they are very spot on/true colors. Like colors that can be founds on a color wheel instead of what most brands do, which is color then muted it down with skin tone. For people that have more of bright/clear skin tone(verse a more muted) , those colors are fantastic, but many brands tend to go with more muted colors, because generally people tend to have more muted tones. And if you have more of a muted tone, then the more true toned one just look wrong, like there is too much color, because they don't have anything in there to to build bridge. (ie the pink is too pink) However any muted color tends to just look dirty on me, like there two many colors in there. The original Rare beauty blush release was also like this (the later ones have more muted ) as well Kosas' original lipsticks (there now these ugly gray-brown things that I can't wear), but it is something that is harder to find. (To show just how knowledgable about color theory and skin tone Lisa Eldridge is; she actually has colors for bright/clear tones and for more muted tones, so props off to her. Her Rosy Shell lipstick is divine).

After hearing all this talk about saturation, I realised how positively peach my concealer was and went on a hunt to find a product more in line with my olive skin. Long story short, after a while I realised I like my concealer and have used it for so long because it is colour correcting for the more dull parts of my skin under my eyes and around my mouth (which is the only place I really wear product). That being said, I wouldn’t put it all over my face. 😅

Saw a game called Hues and Cues, that you would kill at, with your insane eye for color and your ability to match hex codes! So silly but immediately thought Kackie would dominate!!

I don't have a lot of Lisa Eldridge makeup, but I love her lip gloss and the Luxuriously Lucent Lipcolor, but most of all her cleanser has been a total gamechanger in my beyond dry, mature skin!! Even my mom, who has combo skin, loves the cleanser!!

12 shades of concealer. From a drugstore brand. In 2023-going-on-2024. And the deepest shade is medium-tan at best. That is BS.

No lie, I'm a true medium tan and their darkest shade is still at least 3 shades too light. That's an embarrassing shade range.

Real homemade Jewish latkes are supposed to be very crispy on the edges and outside. They also aren't only finely shredded potato but also finely shredded Vidalia onion. Also want to hear more about what you think of the rephr brushes and curler, personally I looove them. Also if you don't like the eyelash curler it comes in two sizes, the other size might be better for you!

Just wanted to double down on the love for Lisa Eldridge’s shade range. I originally settled on shade 2 after after her customer service team agreed that there was no perfect match for me. There must have been other people like me, because they later added shade 2.5 (light olive). And they let me exchange my 2 for the 2.5 even though it was around a year later. ❤ (In contrast, I look ill in every shade of the Glossier.)

I think i’m considered a light olive, but really cool toned. i joke that i’m a light teal. i have to mix blue pigment into my lisa eldridge foundation so that it doesn’t look orange. which i have to do with every foundation so it’s not a big deal. i just wish i could find something somewhere that didn’t require that 🥲

@@sea_g0at I am also quite cool toned! Everything goes orange on me. I like to use the make up forever tone up perfector primer primer in blue or the Givenchy skin-caring corrector in blue. These two really cool down my products. I also have the Sisley color correcting primer in just lavender for things that are too yellow.

I have been hunting for a shadow the base color of space cowboy for the last six or seven months. Typically it is too beige or too dark so this is awesome!

I work in JC, but I live 1.5 hours south. It's definitely an adjustment in my mindset the 3 days a week I go into the office haha. Traffic, esp at rush hour, never fails to enrage me.

Kackie- this may be niche info but I know I’m hitting a target for this. I heard one cause of dermatitis is using something damp or wet to wipe your skin (i.e. damp/ wet towel or anything that can harbor bacteria, sponge, etc.) I would check on this with your dermatologist but wanted to pass this along in case it may help! ❤
