Trying New Items at Trader Joe’s
Today's video is my weekly Trader Joe's taste test of all the new items in February 2024. We are tasting 6 new items plus 1 secret item including the black garlic cream cheese spread, cinnamon sugar almonds, mini mochi rice nuggets, calamansi & mango sorbet, sparkling black cherry & vanilla water and the caramel palmiers puff pastry biscuits. Follow along each week as I grab all the new seasonal items at Trader Joe’s and do a taste test and review. Watch to find out if we found some new favorite must haves for 2024. I want to try the black garlic cream cheese. I love garlic. My favorite hot sauce from Trader is the Garlic & Jalapeño so I look forward to trying that. Thanks for the reviews. You guys are fun to watch.
TJ’s sells a black garlic seasoning blend. It comes in a short bottle with a black lid.

I just got the mini mochi nuggets earlier today and they are so delicious!! I’m trying so hard not to finish the whole bag HAHAHAH
black garlic 🧄 is fermented so it’s much stronger

The black garlic I have seen many reels of people trying it with pasta
We just did a TJ's run last night. I picked up the almonds too. I found them last minute at the register. I can't wait to try them!

Indeed there was a Coke black cherry vanilla back in the early 2000s but it was discontinued due to low sales. However Coke black cherry and Coke vanilla still are able to be found but not combined together anymore.

More on the soft side with the coating on the outside but there is still an almond on the inside so there will be some crunch
I tried Trader Joes green apple sparkling water. I think it was a case of 8 cans. It took me forever to finishe them, they were awful. Too much sparkly and very little green apple.

Yeah I definitely prefer spindrift to the Trader Joe’s brand

Spindrift is a little different than sparkling water. Most of the sparkling water just has flavorings in while Spindrift has a little bit of fruit juice that will make it a bit sweeter. And also a bit more expensive!

Agreed as soon as natural flavors added taste changes and not for the better
Their cream cheese spreads have a lot of gums, bad for your gut microbiome.
