Don't worry Denny, Kimchi is an aquired taste and yes. Even Asian people say so. As to what it is, it's base is fermented cabbage. Also, it is indeed very spicy.

8:20 kimchi is pickled cabbage with chili which is just the Asian version of sauerkraut which is a German word for sour cabbage. According to Wikipedia it originates from the Central and Eastern European countries. the Asian countries just made it their own and mixed it with chili..... ....by the way all those clumsy moments are what make the video funny. especially when she banged the elbow at the beginning and then a little later the box of snacks fell on the floor from the edge of the desk, and when she drops everything. cant help but laugh. 😂🤣 (i havent even got through the video yet)
