mango is the fruit itself, apple is the adjective (probably bec the skin is often reddish). i'd put salt only if it's unripe

Lmao, the way your reaction changed when you dipped in salt haha. You can also try it with bagoong (shrimp paste). Depends on what you prefer😁

Unripe mango is the best if you wanna eat it with bagoong or salt

Did you wash the mango AFTER you peel the skin??? Wash fruit (or veggies) first then peel them.

all mangoes originally came from India the mangoes that we know of today are all cultivars which essentially means that they are products of long and careful selective breeding that's why provinces like Zambales which produced the guiness book of world records for the sweetest mango cultivar sweet Elena and Guimaras cultivar are heavily protected well a lot of the fruits and even vegetables today are already cultivars

Carabao mango is #1 for me - either the ripe ones or the green ones. I don't know why but Apple mango has a slightly bitter aftertaste for me.
