Hello from south Texas! I’m Texas born and raised. Buc-ee’s is so amazing! I suggest visiting in early spring or late fall/autumn for the best weather. I know I personally hate the heat. HEB, Buccees, whataburger, six flags fiesta Texas, and schlitterbahn in new braunfels (summer water park) are a few must sees that you’ll never forget! Also, college or pro football games are amazing experiences! Kate: Reese’s thins dark chocolate are my absolute favorite! I’m not a fan of peanut butter, but the dark chocolate perfectly balances it out. The milk chocolate one you had was good. And they also come in white chocolate!They’re amazing straight from the fridge also. The only thing that was missing from this box was authentic Buc-ee’s gear - the t-shirts and can koozies are a true Texas must have! Love yall’s channel! Stay well!

They failed to mention the bathrooms at Buccees. It's ginormous! It's a large oval shaped room with bathrooms all the way around. Sinks in the middle.

The State Fair of Texas, located in Dallas, is in October every year, but was cancelled this year due to the pandemic. The Bluebonnet bloom is usually in April, depending on the amount of rain we get in the winter. The best place to see the bluebonnets would be in the Hill Country around Austin. There's an annual Bluebonnet Trails Festival in Ennis, south of Dallas since you said you like fairs. I live in Texas and I've never been to Bucee's, although they just opened one in Royce City, Texas, a town I drive through on the way to Dallas from where I live in East Texas. I will stop by there next trip I make to Dallas. Glad you enjoyed our Texas treats.

My kids always argue about sharing food, and after watching your videos I just think "If Kate and Alex can do it, WHY CAN'T YOU?!" lol! New subscriber here, and love your dynamic!

To make you own everything but the bagel seasoning..... 1 1/2 Tablespoons poppyseeds 2 Tablespoons white sesame seeds 1 Tablespoon black sesame seeds 1 1/2 Tablespoons minced garlic 1 1/2 Tablespoons dried onion flake 2 teaspoon flaked or coarseness salt This seasoning has quicky become a favorite. I use it almost every day ☺️

Come on to Texas! Yes we love our Bucee’s here in Texas! We’re right outside of Fort Woth and about to get a brand new Bucee’s!

Been to the one by Texas Motor Speedway ,where is the new one.

I live in Fredericksburg, Tx. We are known for our peaches and wineries. We are in central Texas and in the hill country. I think the best time to visit is in the spring (late March/ April), however late October is really nice too. Avoid the summer months because we frequently reach temperatures close or over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. So excited to see a Texas box.

We drive through Fredericksburg every time we go to San Antonio and I love it lol hopefully this year my husband and I will be celebrating our 2 yr wedding anniversary there❤️

Thanks Alex and Kate for another great video. I love Buc-ee's, I drove almost 3 hours to visit the store and try their brisket. I wasn't a fan of the nuggets but their brisket was out of this world.

Kingman is in Arizona. It’s on the way to Vegas, if you’re going through AZ. I would recommend you come to Texas in the Fall.

I’m from houston, which is on the eastern coast of texas. it’s hot and muggy from end of april-end of october here. austin and dallas aren’t as muggy as they’re further from the coast. like everyone else is saying, I’d also recommend visiting in march/april or october/november. you guys are probably more used to the cold so our summers will be absolutely dreadful for y’all. there’s a little town near san antonio called new braunfels that has rivers for tubing if you do come in the summer. it’s a summer time staple for us (not during a pandemic)

I'm uterrly wondering hw you two are still in good shape after having all these candies 😆. If I were in your place I would have become like an oil tank 😆. Love you two guys. I do enjoy watching 👀 your videos. 👏 👏 👏

You need to come either during the time of the Texas State Fair in Dallas or the Houston Live Stock Show and Rodeo. Love Buckees!!! Make sure you go to the ones heading out of the cities they are the bigger ones and sometimes you might get to take a pic with Buckee himself as he pops in and out of stores occasionally at least the ones near Houston. Be sure to grab the breakfast tacos when in, a brisket sandwich and a few types of jerky. I am heading to Dallas this weekend from Houston and as always will be making a stop at Buckees before heading down the long stretch.

Yes for Buc-ees! I stop at at least 3 of them when I go to Texas! The beaver nuggets, sliced brisket sandwich, beaver chips, and jerky are some of my favorite! You also can’t go without getting a new shirt every time

Also, the Houston Rodeo is in March every year for about 3 weeks. Its the largest rodeo in the world and it includes concerts and a carnival as well. March would be a cool time to go to Texas. :)

Definitely visit us around April or May... I am in New Braunfels which is a great place to visit here in texas and we have a Buccees in town plus a huge water park and 2 rivers to float

Crush is my favorite orange pop! I had no idea they had anything other than grape and orange. Your videos always make me so hungry for treats! I had to stop watching your videos for a bit because of morning sickness. Then I took a break because we weren't going to the store for special items just stocking up on important food because of the unknowns with Covid and shortages. Now I've got 4 weeks left before my due date with my 3rd baby and I've got such a sweet tooth! Definitely dying for some seasalt caramels now. Sanders is my favorite!

Y’all definitely need to come visit us in Texas. Please though, don’t come in the summer. The heat wave you have going on now is nothing compared to our regular summer temps. I’d recommend y’all come out during the spring. And, I’ll even say we’d love to host y’all here in San Antonio!

I, too, am from Texas. I live about 2 miles from the Buc-ees that this box of goodies is probably from. North Austin is about 60 miles from here. If you look at a Texas map, find Austin, go south, find San Antonio, I'm on that highway. I think the best time to visit Texas depends on where you want to be. If you are looking at Dallas-Ft. Worth, I'd say April is great. If you are looking at Houston then mid-March is better. However, I want to encourage you to visit the Texas Hill Country. That is the area around Austin and San Antonio. If you do, early March is when the bluebonnets are in bloom. The fall of the Alamo is March 6th and there is always a ceremony that is quite moving. There is a wild flower seed farm near Fredericksburg where you can see acres of wildflowers being raised for seed. You'll also be close to Lockhart--the BBQ capitol of Texas.

November - April, best time to come visit!

Seriously, you guys, you NEED to market an “oh my WORD” t-shirt...I would totally buy one! ❤️

My hospital is in Texas and I try to travel there between November and March. It is too hot most other months. Awesome box!

I have family in Texas On a road trip to San Antonio we stopped at Buc-ee’s I love that place ! They have EVERYTHING 😍

If you visit between January and May, you'll experience the Texas Spring. We can (and often do) get clear skies, warm weather, and lots of sunshine as early as Valentine's day. Don't recommend between July-End of September as it usually gets so hot that it can be depressing. Yesterday (August 15, 2020) I rode the bus in my city to the pharmacy at 7pm. It was STILL 107 Fahrenheit! When my husband got off at 9:30, it was still 95! We live in Fort Worth, one of the three cities in the Dallas Metroplex. We have several free museums, downtown is a very pretty mix of art deco, Southwest and vintage styles. People are generally friendly, and if you ask for help/directions, most will help you.

I am an epic Reese's fan here! I truly believe the regular original version is the absolute best and should not be messed with except to freeze! I keep some in the freezer to treat myself to one while washing dishes. I have tried every variety but as of yet none can surpass the original perfection!! Great tasting and Thank You for lightening up my day!

Autumn! Texas Football, bbq, decent temperatures and the state fair

I am from Texas and typically go through in the summer. The summer is so HOT. The spring is my favorite. Fall is nice too. Buccees is my favorite stop. We currently live in California due to the Navy. That being said our family is primarily in Texas and Arkansas. So I tend to hit Buccees on the way out and on the way home.

The holiday ones always seem to be more packed!!

I used to live right next to a Buccees and would go every morning before school to get a fudge sample! They give out free samples of fudge and you can try any flavor you want. My favorites were salted caramel and pecan praline and orange creamsicle. So many memories at Buccees. Definitely visit in spring or fall. Texas is so vast and there is so much to do and see. You can go to the beach or hike or visit the city.

I just tried two new Kit Kat flavours I saw in the store the other day here in Ontario, Canada. One was a Ruby Cocoa Kit Kat, made from ruby cocoa beans. The chocolate is naturally pink! The other was a Kit Kat Gold, made with caramelized white chocolate. Not sure if you have either of those in the UK, but they were both delicious. The ruby cocoa is definitely an acquired taste though.

That jalapeño jelly is amazing !

Texas state fair in Dallas during the fall is a great treat.

Spring and Autumn are the best times to be in Texas. The temperature is warm, but hasn’t gotten too humid yet. I live in the Dallas area and would love to show you around if you come visit.

I prefer the thin Reese’s! Also, the hot beaver nuggets are the BEST! And always get the brisket tacos, teriyaki jerky, and the hot beaver nuggets when I go to Buccees. ❤️

I’m a lifelong Texan, and we have four seasons here: Almost Summer, Really Summer, Still Summer, and February. If you don’t want to melt, I recommend at least avoiding Really Summer (roughly June - August), but be warned that our temps often reach what you’d consider “summer” year-round.

Love this video! I am from Texas too and love all of these things. Bucees has such cool food! Their warm candied pecans are my favorite. You should come visit texas during October when the state fair of Texas is going on, which happens in Dallas. You can get so many fried foods and Fletchers corny dogs are the best.

Another great place to visit is McAllen Texas. Lots of amazing TEX-MEX food BBQ and it is only an hour away from South Padre Island or SPI and it has warm waters almost year round. Winters can be mid 70’s or low 80’s and night like 60’s.

Now that I’ve had the milk chocolate Reese’s thins, I prefer them over everything else. The perfect size and ratio of chocolate to peanut butter.

We love Buc-ee's, you must stop in an visit them the next time you come! They give out free samples all the time! Buc-ee's are the size of a small grocery store so much fun to visit! I'm surprised she did'nt send you more Buc-ee products to try!

Kit Kat Big Kat is probably one of my favorite candy bars. They do come in a single bar, what you've received is a King Size. I live in next door in Louisiana and I really go to Texas often.

I need to try those coconut biscuits. I love the Nature Valley Almond Butter Biscuits. Yum! Great video with such a great variety of snacks. I’ve never heard of beaver nuggets, so when you guys first said that, I laughed like such a dork lol
