A takeaway box with holes in - genius!😂 Imagine buying that and driving somewhere. The gravy will ooze out into the car. That alone would put me off buying a takeaway from there, no matter how good it is. The lack of small wooden cutlery and a napkin didn't help either.

A long time ago, I bought a "take away" rotisserie chicken dinner including fries and a green salad with dressing... with no cutlery. Eating fries with fingers is no problem; eating chicken with fingers is okay (if greasy)... but there is no way to eat a dressed salad without creating a mess!

Folks, it's a sunday roast. There's no reasonable "takeaway" option for storage unless they provide something really expensive like a huge plastic box, and those are like £10 a piece. Gravy in a cardboard box is nuts but what else could they do?

That food deserves 5/10. Danny is too nice. At least you can feed it to the ducks

Reheated roasts is a massive red flag.

Customer service should have been better. Provide a knife and fork, plus, make sure all the order is provided on time. The food looked good though, although £16 isn't too competitive. Thanks for another video, Danny and co.

Thing is those dishes are nice but other countries do roasts as well with more variety, and as for the other dishes there just really aren't that many whereas many European countries have a higher average standard of food and also many more dishes and regional variety

Plenty of regional variety in food in the UK. Pies, cheeses, desserts like bakewell tart. Even apple pie is British. Never seen other countries do roasts as well. France uses sauces too much in their cooking, Duck la orange for example is crap. I doubt if the food is of a higher standard in other countries it all depends on their chefs, of which Britain has some of the finest.

@ggarlick46 pie isn't british, it used to be eaten all across Europe until a few hundred years ago when most countries moved on in their cuisine. Nothing wrong with pie bit its still true if you research it. As for cheese variety, yes it exists but it's nowhere near the level of variety in France or Italy for example, and the sheer range of dishes in Italy is massive. I challenge you yo name more than 10 English dishes that are commonly eaten without looking them up. In Italy each village has its own local dishes. I'm not saying English food is bad, just that our food culture is not on the same level as those countries

When you sit outside eateries Danny, do they know in advance where you'll be sar or is it arranged beforehand?

You'd think, with the potential viewing, they woulda made an effort. Even the ducks in the canal were giving it the wide berth. Hopefully, they will have taken all the previous comments on board, had a team talk and upped their game.

More roast dinners or carveries please Danny, even though that one was far from ideal, maybe they are not used to serving that as a 'take away? may have thought you were taking it home and shoving it on a plate and using your own cutlery? they knew you were outside though. More pies, bakery goodies please, good old sausage and mash? Liver, Kidneys or rissoles? nothing wrong with chips, sausage, egg and beans if done right, some stews like Lobscouse, or Cawl up here in Wales too. A good buffet is also hard to beat. Nowt wrong with burgers and fried chicken etc, but everything in moderation. Thank you for the channel and all the best.👍
