Her passion for drug store is one of the many reasons I subscribe. So many don’t and I don’t know why, they are limiting their audience

I know your brows might look darker, but honestly, they match the darkest tones of your hair so I don't think that it looks bad @ all, Jen!!

Great video with a super product review. You actually look like you are in your '20s❤. Love the brows and eyeshadow. The foundation and concealer are nice. Ty for showing the eyeshadow depth of pigment and no talc, fantastic 🤩🎉💃.

Jen, I’m so thankful for you ❤ You’ve created such a great space on KZread showcasing both drugstore priced items and high end priced items. It’s so appreciated that you create a balance on your channel and I just wanted to say thank you ❤

At first, I thought the brows were too much. But within minutes, I began to really like-and then love-that thicker, bolder look. If anything, you might try the next shade lighter (if it is also cool toned).

I found all this at my Wal-Mart over a week ago and commented to tell ya about it! Hardcandy has a bunch of new products, like new eye paints, multichrome liners, metallic/matte liners, creamy lip slides, wet n wild has new lipsticks and lip oils! Covergirl has a bunch of new at Walmart too! Also elf has all their new stuff including the satin Foundation, liners, bringing drops....they told me they're resetting the entire makeup section!!!!

I’m so glad you mentioned that no one is nailing cool undertones! ALL of them are orange! The only brand that does a true cool tone is Bare Minerals and I unfortunately can’t do their new formulas. Clinique kind of nails it, and Natasha Denona had some pinky shades but no longer exist. Nars, Hourglass, Fenty, Huda, you name it, they are all orange. Pradas foundations are ok but the light shades are pinky, and then as they deepen, they go orange, so I have to mix. I literally have no foundations that match me besides the old bare minerals matte foundation in 22 almond. Very frustrating.

Yeah, it's especially annoying if you also only have a drugstore budget and super dry, sensitive skin 😒. I'm currently making do with the Wet & Wild Photofocus Dewy in Nude Ivory. It's not orange, not yellow, nor is it toó pink (that, too, can be an issue). It's the best match I've found in aaaageees, to be fair. Unfortunately, I can't use it a full day because then it'll start to itch & personally, I think that my mature, dry skin doesn't look its best (but to be fair, I think that with most foundations. They seem to emphasize my lines so much). I have 2 other foundations that are great in tone (the Missha Cover up BB Cream in 21C and the Essence Fresh & Fit in Fresh Ivory), but both only work for me when I'm truly tanned - which rarely happens to me. I'm going to try the much lauded L'Oréal True Match Lumi or the newest E.L.F. I have very little hope, but who knows... If you have other drugstore tips (not US brands as I'm in Europe), I'd love to hear them. Thank heavens, I finally found some great, affordable cool toned bronzers a few years back (and recently bought 2 new ones to try), because having to deal with the orange on dark yellow there as well was *really* getting to me 😂. Getting cool toned *cream* bronzers is still a tough search, though. I use predominantly cream products, and while I love my current bronzers, it won't always work together well. And cream looks more natural. The ELF putty bronzer in the lightest shade is cool. But it's SO cool that it's more a contour. And the pigmentation is meh. The Revolution cream bronzer in the simple compact (that some people claim is a dupe for the Chanel) is the best so far, but its extreme pigmentation can make it a tad hard to work with at times. The rest I've tried is once again mega-yellow or orange, or too dark, or all of the above. I was considering spending a "little" more and getting the RMS Beauty buruti bronzer that Jen showed recently as it looked so gorgeous. But then I saw its price here....GULP. For me, €69 for a tiny pot of cream bronzer ( so around $77) is ridiculous! 😢 I love makeup, I deserve self- care in any way, shape, or form. But... as I'm sadly on a disability pension, that's just not doable. Oh well, the drugstore and affordable indie brands are killing it lately, so I just hope my day will come. Well, I guess I should say: OUR day. Because if the drugstore brands finally come up with great cool toned products, the high-end ones that seem to be more your speed will hàve to follow. ;).

@ambergerhelper7852 I am addicted to Korean skincare (works better than any of the stuff my skin therapist or dermatologist have ever given me), and I also use their spf and have loads of Korean and Japanese brands' blushes. Foundation is a new try for me. I ordered the Silver TirTir and Zeesea, another Korean brand that's not well known in the West. The TirTir just arrived and I'm still awaiting the Zeesea. Cushion foundation is also new, so I'm curious to see if this is something my super dry skin will like. I do fear they'll turn out too pink, based on the pictures. I'm more of a grey-cool, instead of a pink or peach cool. I did try the Missha Perfect Cover Up BB cream before, but while the undertone of the 21 is perfect (if you're cool-olive you'll love it) and it's nice on skin, it is sadly too drying and too dark, unless I get a major tan - and that almost never happens. If you have any regular liquid foundation tips, preferably hydrating ones, with a cool undertone, I'm all ears. Or eyes 👀 in this case ;). BB creams are also welcome as I don't need full coverage and prefer a more natural look.

I'm glad you found this line. I don't go in and look at the cosmetics section very often at Walmart but I will be watching for this brand now.

The brow gel seems unwieldy, but seems to give natural hair like strokes as well. Checked out the shadow selection and the 3 palettes look nearly identical. But the price points are amazing, so I'm excited to see what they come out with next.

My local Walmart just reset their cosmetics section, they expanded e.l.f.'s line up to include most, if not all of their new and/or newest releases, they also added more products from Wet N Wild, Milani, Profusion, and they had a new section for the Pretty Smart cosmetics, I was tempted to try it out but I was waiting to watch a review first so thnx so much Jen! very helpful video 🤗... looking beautiful, as always 😍... hugzzz 💜

Did you post a comment about how well it wore through out the day? Looks very promising, but it would be a no go if it faded/wore off quickly. If you could pin a comment with how well it did, I would love it. Your brows look a bit thicker, but that is a plus for me. I am always looking for brow building products that don’t look fake. The fact this is a cool brown is a HUGE plus.

Idk if the brow formula or just the deeper color is overpowering you, as a fair person with softer features, but with the rest of your face done I think it actually is really nice! I like it. I'm definitely gonna try some of these products! Thanks a lot for showcasing them

You spoke about the lack of good eyeshadows at drugstore prices. I've been super impressed with Kara Beauty for the price. I bought my first palette of theirs at T.J. Maxx because another shopper told me they were good. I came home, tried it, and was so impressed i went back the next day and bought every color story they had (minus the glitters). Now they're staples for me and I use them every day for at least 1-2 shades, even when the majority of my eye look comes from another brand. They're not the best formula I've ever tried (that would be Sydney Grace), but they easily beat many high end brands for me.

The Kara Beauty formula reminds me of old-school Too Faced from 5 years ago. Nothing spectacular like the most expensive indie brands, but just a solid formula that always works.

I have an older Kara palette called Behind the Mask. There’s some gorgeous shades. Also some okay ones. I like it for Sept and Oct.

NYX has a microbow pencil in grey. ABH and lots of Asian cosmetic companies make them, too. Hope you find something you love!

Jen, I have heard you comment on struggling to balance your brows in the past so having the same off set eyes, I created a hack that is game changing. Use a grooming face razor and go to your car! lol. Looking into your visor mirror , intentionally any reflect view of your eyebrows WITHOUT your eyes. It is amazingly easy to focus on creating symmetry and because you are shaving not plucking the hairs, they will grow back faster until you master your desired shape. It’s a game changer ❤

Your the first to review this brand…you did a great job! I think this video is going to bring a lot a views. Looks like these mirror the formula for the Balm. The Balm has disastrous mascaras, so looks like it’s probably the same for Pretty Smart. Your right about there blushes. My favorite bronzer and blush is from the Balm, so I’m definitely going to pick up Pretty Smarts blushes
