Queen Helene is an oldie, but a goody!

I use it with Olive or Almond oil. I follow up with a heating cap for 20 minutes. This combination works great on my hair.

I used to be a shampoo girl back in the day. We used to use the LeKair cholesterol Plus ( Orange color) conditioner. Makes it easy to detangle and very soft. It kept our hair healthy.

I'm aging myself here...I have been using Queen Helene Cholesterol conditioner since 1989 at age 16. I'm 51 now and will never stop! ❤ It does everything I need it to do. The smell is pleasant to me. Edit: You are right. I don't see this as a moisturizer, as much as I see it as a strengthener. For a moisturizer, my go-to is Luster's Pink Oil Moisturizer, another oldie but goodie, that I will never stop using ☺️

My mom also used this on me and my siblings hair. She also used the hot oil treatment.

I live by this stuff. It’s been a part of my regime for three years now.

It's really bomb if used on soaking wet hair. Them directions must of been for clear ppl

I love queen Helene cholesterol, I use that same one as a pre poo the day before wash day, and the super cholesterol I use as a co wash 😊. My results is that it stopped my breakage from a bad experience of trying all natural products. I’ll always use queen Helene.

Makes sense, as it definitely helps strengthen, helping to reduce breakage. I just couldn’t get over the dryness 😭 maybe I could mix it with my conditioner 🤔

@@HazelGoddesssyou could mix it with your conditioner but it may alter the effect of the cholesterol, maybe try mixing it with an oil first and if that still doesn’t work try it with your conditioner 😊

Your hair is beautiful! I used this product a couple of times ages ago hoping I'd eventually like it since I had so much left over in that big jar. My hair was relaxed and waist-length at the time. It just felt like putting a heavy, sticky paste on my hair that was hard to rinse out. It made my hair feel dry, which was very unusual for me, and didn't seem to give me any beneficial results at all. I probably didn't think to use a regular, moisturizing conditioner afterwards like you did, though. However, I loved the Queen Helene Mint Julep facial mask and was so disappointed that they stopped making it.

I love this I'm a "bleached natural" and I use it to detangle on soaking wet hair and in my daughter hair who is 6 on damp hair

I haven't used this product. I used their orange conditioner product many moons ago.

I used to always use cholesterol back in the day and it did give strength to my hair. I liked it for that. I have a jar I need to dust off and use lol. If I use it I will probably use a moisturizing conditioner after.

Honey, I as well but make sure to check dates very important products get old n damage hair. Saw a video sis must have used an outdated product ruined her growth, sad but true. Thanks for sharing👍😏
