In the 60s n 70's...you could by a 'stick of lipstick ' consisting of 4 to 6 small white interlocking tubes of lipstick.. they each connected to the other.. you could have em all connected in your makeup drawer or take which ever with you...they had the same thing for eyeshadow...these pills are smaller.

Avon had these very similar little samples in the 80's. Back when the Avon lady used to come to our house and sit at the kitchen counter with my mom and hand out samples. I had a bunch of them.
