Guys, its just all purpose drywall mud rolled on with a paint roller.... you can get it for like 20 bucks at the big box. Also the bags like a sheetrock 90 can be mixed a bit thinner to help with application.

I respect how quick you do texturing but those colours jeez bazeez

I tried to do a texture with roller and all purpose mud on non brand-drywall, experienced a problem of drywall’s paper peeling off when rolling the mud over, did a coat of all purpose mud ski thinking this might help in supporting the paper so it does not peel, tried again but same problem, how you guys recommend this with such issues, what I am missing here if any?

if brown paper on drywall is expose you ALWAYS need to seal it before any water based material is applied. (Drywall mud, paint, primer ect). The paper will bubble, flake, and peel if you just paint over the exposed paper. . An oil based primer like kilz orgional , or alcohol/shelac based primer like BIN primer, will seal up the drywall and wont have any issues.
