I have an L6S. For the inductor Bill Lawrence grabbed the nearest bolt and wrapped some wire around it. And the pickups were probably the first to use ceramic magnets.

Waylon, What series capacitor values are you using? when both pickups are wired in series. Try to make a video lesson about SPIN A Split wiring and adding RC networks.

Add a way to split the coils and you have Gilmore's sound
