Hi chef RV you remind me my childhood time in Bohol, yan ang snack namin lagi sa school Dinumugan or Puto sa kamoting kahoy or sa bisaya balanghoy nakakamiss naman talaga. Thank you so much chef isa ako sa mahilig magluto at gustong gusto kong lutuin o sundan ang iyong mga recipes kc madali lang at ang mga ingredients nasa kusina na ang mga cakes recipes mo masasarap. Watching from Canada 🇨🇦 ❤️.

Ginagamit ko mostly ay parchment paper tapos pinapahiran ko thinly ng coconut oil before putting the dough.Lastly babalutin ko pa ng foil to make it sure na walang makapasok na water.Ok naman po at masarap parin ang kakanin kahit hindi dahon ng saging ang gamit.Dito kasi sa Germany mahal ang frozen banana leaves tapos punit punit pa.I love the comfort of using the parchment paper+foil.Just a tip lang po.

Ginaya ko yung recipe mo ng kalamay ube, sobrang sarap. Ay pati mga kaibigan ko dito sa California nagustuhan. Akala tuloy nila eksperto ako sa paggawa ng kakaning Pinoy. Hindi nila alam galing sa yo ang recipe. Anyway, I will try this saba suman too. Madami akong stocks na saba sa freezer na galing sa Pilipinas.

Andito ako sa CA, and salamat talaga sa mga options na magamit namin dito na hindi makuha sa mga grocery stores. I tried buying the frozen banana leaves, it’s really different compared to the fresh ones. For me lang ha? Iba ang amoy minsan kasi it’s old, and parang na ruin ang taste ng aking niluto.
