Loved that. That episode was funny, but yeah the actual themes and quiplashes themselves were so poor, so hearing them called out by Spencer was hilarious.

40:30 Regarding the concept that people actually care about the crazy stuff yall do and call entertainment, it sounds silly but genuinely the dumbest concepts make me and so many people the happiest!! The staring contest video was hysterically funny and i thought it would be boring but the cast and crews ability to take something simple and make it incredible is why we keep watching. Smosh helps so many people get through so many crazy, sad, depressing, and rough moments in their lives (even if you guys dont always see that). Thank you for being silly, it keeps some of our worlds spinning when it feels like it’s caving in.

Amanda has so much energy and comedic rizz. She was *on* - also recording multiple voicemails before this, working on other live shows outside of Smosh. Amanda and Angela are just truly professional in the sense that they always bring that energy even if it is the last video of the week. They love what they do and it is great to see. It just sticks out to me. They have that "actually had to do the acting/improv hustle even without or very little pay just to get a foot in the door" grit that makes every appearence count.

Spencer being a drink goblin at work is very much something I relate to 😂 I always have one to hydrate, one for caffeine, and one for taste and funsies
