It's the principle of it. I think once they had a stanford experiment where they examined the kids who chose to resist 3 oreos for only 1 oreo. In the end, the kids who were able to resist the temptation of the 3 oreos for the one got much further in life.

Smart to add punishments, I'd still eat everything though.

Watching people get to eat anime foods brought to life is so cool. Kudos to those pro chefs and thanks for sharing this with us! ^_^ All of those dishes were tempting, but I would have had the hardest time with that first egg tempura bowl. It's the dish I found most intriguing when I watched the anime. Times like this, I wish the game were occasionally set up so that contestants could choose their winning dish(es) out of the ones they resisted.

The best thing about this is that they kept it in sub, great work

The real winners are Dionte and Darius honestly. I wouldn't mind eating the tentacle.

I love how there is a reward/punishment now, otherwise there is no incentive to hold out and they can just "take the L" and eat everything. This makes it a lot more fun!

One of the dishes should have been the bacon wrapped potato roast from the first episode. That dish had me absolutely salivating.

Diante and Darius were definitely my spirit animals for this episode!

I so knew what the punishment was going to be! And I was not disappointed I am so glad that I personally endured though I have to admit this one tempted me more than most of the do not eat challenges.
