    +Hamad Aljaafar Just use water instead, it doesn't affect the taste that much. For mirin,, use sugar + water.

    +Shaun Dreclin It is already proven that alcohol never cooks out of food completley. Since moslems are not allowed to consume alcohol even in small quantities, it does not matter if 99% of the alcohol cooks out, 1% of it is enough for the dish to be haram.

    +Hamad Aljaafar chicken broth for sake. As for Mirin, I found brown sugar or honey with water is better than just a mix of white sugar and water.

    ASMR has been a thing for a while. I subscribed to a Japanese channel that does it for raw fish dishes. I usually play their videos before I take a nap or go to sleep. It's pretty soothing, watching fish get butchered and hearing water running from the tap. Haha

    I am not a fan of ASMR?, personally. But I do understand some people prefer it that way. So As long as you say there is still gonna be the normal cooking video. I am glad. I come here for the ambiance and the blahblah time! :D (More choices More happy people?) Also. I wish I had all the ingredients you have for the ramen soup. I want to try it!

    ***** or for people who like to have the tingling sense feeling thing in their head/spine I am well aware of what it is and whatnot. I was just saying it's not for me. So as long as the other option exists I'll be happy; so the fact that the two options exist is the best of all worlds. I like cacti.

    Thank you for the recipe as always. I personally love ASMR videos with no talking at all, and the actions go about naturally. I don't enjoy videos where the sounds are forced - i.e. someone purposefully plays/crinkles bags for several minutes before going to the next step. i prefer to see/hear everything naturally, no comments.

    The close up on the bowl near the end looked really good! I saw the little droplets of oil/fat on the top and it seems like a perfect amount! With that alone I can tell it's a really good broth! (I've had ramen before and that's about the amount of oil I find is a good balance for additional flavour without making the broth or noodles too greasy) I'll be sure to try it sometime! Looks great! :D

    I'm a Singaporean studying in the UK right now so this video is just perfect for me! :D I think I'm going to try this some time and see how it goes! :) I get very homesick for Asian food - we get so many varieties in Singapore that it's become commonplace for us to eat a mix of cuisines. Really miss Chinese and Japanese in particular (luckily there's a Korean supermarket which makes fresh Korean bento everyday so that's one way of getting some Asian food). Also really hope the supermarket sells red miso (have only seen white so far)! Just wondering if you think I could substitute the sake for mirin and cut out some sugar? :) Keep up the great work, Runny! ラ二さん頑張ってね! (also ASMR cooking is exactly what helps me sleep~)

    Personally, I am not fan of the ASMR videos. I have tried many times with different voicers to find a way to like it but it makes me just anxious in a way, I kind of find it annoying with the whispers, however, I don't mind you posting the one before, since you don't really whisper/talk low in the video, I actually like the quiet background/cooking sound. Ps. Hope people don't find this offensive o___o

  • @AiyaaaJenny

    @AiyaaaJenny

    8 жыл бұрын

    blackdevil72 I am not really sure what it is, ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. As far as I know, people listens to those for relaxations because it gives people a tingling sensation. I have only seen videos of people whisper gently by doing random things like putting on a scenario or doing they daily lives things. Personally, I find it kind of annoying, it feels like a fly flying near my ear and I want to kill it. I thought I had to find like a specific type of voicers so I can maybe like it, but it's not my thing. It's like a itchy scratch that I can't scratch, it makes me cringes in a bad way for some reason.
