My Dad moved our family to the country when I was 7 and I learned to love it. I spent my summers Hiking threw the woods and finding stuff under rocks while my siblings found every reason to hate it. They would start their bickering and fighting and I would just disappear into the woods or, to the middle of the hay ring to pet the horses while they munched away.

Thx for an awesome vid, the farm stay is an absolute paradise. Might just mention for any potential tree changers to not confuse a fa stay such as this one with the reality of buying & farming on your own place, which consists of a lot of endless hard work, money, constant maintenance, frustrations, etc. We purchased in NSW 115acres of beautiful country & for the past 7 yrs have been setting it up for retirement. Absolutely love it, the commitment, work & being prepared for the unexpected must be factored in

I grew up in a rural/small town in South America and now living in USA that’s all I crave is the natural life, that I’m really trying to re-create it on my small plot of land in the city. Hopefully blessings of good health I will be able to live on a farm not too far from the city but more in nature.

So many people get into homesteading, not realizing how hard it truly is, and how much work is involved. I wish they had these farmstays available everywhere, for various climates, because each climate has its own risks and rewards, but so people can do the work while there...to understand what's really involved. This looks more like a vacation.
