TRX4M High Trail F150 Upgrade Time - Lights, Suspension, Drive Shafts, Gears and Motor

Time to give the F150 High Trail some love.
Being stock it does so-so. It's a little cumbersome and lunges with the stock motor and gearing. My other rig does great with the lower gears so I'm putting thing in this one as well.
Along with that, we're going from the stock 87 turn motor to a 44 turn just to give it a little more 'umph' in tough situations, but it also keeps that trigger finesse that's needed in most crawling scenarios.
Then the stock suspension (almost) gets upgraded to a full brass kit......but a small SCREW UP has kind of put that on the back burner.......for now.
The stock drive shafts are being replaced with the same Injora units that I used on the other rig too.
And lastly the stock bright white LED's are swapped out for a 'sealed beam halogen' looking set with tail lights.
Tried to keep this one short, but it does take a little time to get everything in, so I apologize for the length of the video.

I have used heat shrink wrap around each end of the drive shaft to keep that pin from popping out. Has worked so far very well. Love those square bodies !
You could move the esc box forward to even out the shock links
Bummer on the links I but in the Injora links that are round & I replaced the skid with a metal one & that thing fought me till the last screw was in. I also have the metal driveshafts & an Injora reverse rotation 180 55T motor with the stock pinion & the metal low speed Injora metal gears. For the price I definitely recommend the metal gears makes it sound way different also. It’s fast enough but has a much better slow modulated speed when crawling now. I have Injora 1.3 metal beadlocks on it & light kit. I’ve already broke off my mirrors they are way too fragile. I just got more parts to but in a Reefs brass 99 servo & metal Reefs servo tray anodized front knuckles & portal covers & front & rear anodized aluminum front & rear bumper mounts. I had a TRXM Defender which I upgraded but was never happy with it the High Trail has been the opposite & is alot more fun in general which means alot that’s why we run them for fun & to relax & beat stress. 👍

I do not, but all of those with the exception of the light kit came directly off of Amazon. They should be really easy to find there but if you need any other help, I'll do my best to help you out. Have a GREAT holiday.
