It looks really easy in this instance where everyone is different classes with discernable strengths. But my 4 rat mechanics are going to need a more nuanced approach lol

i really hope we got some images for key moments like Tronald tiny towers or taverns and such it can be done with ai pretty easily

Ai generating my battle maps has been 10x easier than just googling for "front gate battle map." I can throw an essay at AI and it will make a good enough map that is many times better than me doodling on a whiteboard, but not quite the quality from drawing one myself or just building one with digital assets. Even if I just build the dungeon one room at a time. Most monsters are even easier, as most monsters can afford having 4 or 6 fingers. And then I can crop them into tokens. I don't need perfect synergy. I'm not selling the art. It just needs to get the idea across. More time is now spent designing custom magic items, traps, tools, spells, drugs, etc

As a fan of David Cook, Nigel Finney, Mercedes Lackey, Piers Anthony, (among others)... your story telling is phenomenal. Comparatively speaking, this is right up there with some of my favorite novels and/or series I have ever read. I started to watch out of the absurdity of your characters, but your character development, rich detailed ambiance, immersion, and storytelling is captivating. Even your plot and settings. I am absolutely blown away. You have genuine talent. This is very good. I think I am close to 12 hours in now... can't stop clicking next.

It is 22:00 here in holland outside the first snow is falling, i found myself staring out the window wondering if your video might drop today. I was starting to get worried, but praise Tronald here it is!

I look forward to these like I looked forward to Saturday morning cartoons.

I started raging like Raahr last week in game. “I f’n rage” . Took a page out of Lunarias book describing how my combat happens. Tourtle lv 1 barb / lv 4 cavalier

Again you did excellent work. The puzzles remind me of the '80s style adventures, that tested the wits of the characters (not just hack and slash). It would be cool if they would end up meeting the Ben/Mike Tyson bunch as they emerge. Or maybe meet a lost cameo Mr. T (classic fighter) or my old classmate Jeff Timmons from 98degrees as a Bard. Keep up the good work and remember patience makes better product 👍👍

I do like the escalation and the sudden rasing of stakes. From assuming some simple cairn encounter to some grand predestined destruction of an evil soul sucking maze/catacombs 😅 well, you do keep the story moving in interesting and exciting directions. In contrast to saving farmers from goblins and talking to giant mythical creatures.

The Tronald has main character syndrome. And the DM is his accomplice.

This is one of the coolest dungeons I've seen in DND

I can't believe the DM allowed Tronald's Tower. That's a spell one could use to break the game. You could go to war with Deep Water, I mean against the entire town, killing everyone there. It might take you a week or so, but killing and then hiding/resting healing your wounds as you go... and grinding out that exp. That's just one example. You could use it as an unbreakable ambush point. Any time you need to retreat, you simply disappear. Broken. Also, truth or dare with one chick doesn't sound all that fun. Bravo for working that mess out. I hate puzzles, I hate them, I hate them, I hate them...but then a boss fight!

It would be the same or even better story if you used just normal dnd characters. Because there’s no jokes or characteristics on the people you choose for voices. It’s not a rent I just thought about it.

That's basically what it is, I prefer to avoid jokes/characteristics of the 'real people' as much as possible, and give the characters their own personalities and characteristics - keeping me on the 'right side of the line' so to speak as AI becomes more regulated! :)
