    Hello Dr Rizwan Can u please confirm do we need AHPRA registration compulsory to work in Australia. I completed my MRCEM , working as emergency mediicne consultant in India with 13 years clinical experience.

    Everyone needs AHPRA registration to work in Australia. MRCEM has no acceptance in Australia 🇦🇺 so you will have to do amc 1 exam and then apply for jobs. Good prospects in ED though

    Dr Rizwan!I have one query,If age is more than 45 years for a doctor then he is not eligible for nationality in Australia?

  • @EmergencyFocus

    @EmergencyFocus

    Күн бұрын

    It is true that most Australian visas have an age limit of 44 meaning that those who have attained the age of 45 years are not eligible to apply for an Australian visa. According to the Internet, you can apply for a Parent Visa to immigrate to Australia after 45 years of age if your 'spouse or de facto partner' is a citizen or permanent resident in Australia.

    Hi, thanks for your comment! If it is a proper primary care setup where you are exposed to ample primary care cases with proper referrals, then it may be considered as recency. According to RACGP, the criteria is at least 48 months before you apply. For more information, check out my website www.emergencyfocus.net/

    Good analysis, but the leaving salaries you quoted for those countries are actually much lower for a majority of doctors. All the reasons you gave are bang on, which is why doctors must only come to these countries after fellowship because there is hardly any personal or professional growth.
