Kulas, picking leaves off the malunggay probably seems tedious to you, but it is like a meditation. I haven't done that with malunggay, but I have done it with oregano, which has much smaller leaves. It's very centering and therapeutic to do.

The kamunggay fall from their fronds when air dried making no need for plucking. Would you believe air dried kamunggay is more nutritious than the fresh ones and you could crash and roast it a little to make a very nutritious dark tea.

Always love watching these at home vlogs. What seems mundane is a joy to watch cuz it always paints the picture of what we'd be doing if we were there. I'll never get tired of dirty kitchen cooking.
