Let me ask about the Warwick MBA. I'm from Uzbekistan with about 5 years of experience, mostly in education. I've been accepted into the Warwick MBA program. Additionally, I've applied for the Chevening scholarship, have had my interview, and am now awaiting the results. What do you think about Warwick? Is an MBA from Warwick prestigious and worth it? Thank you in advance!
TRUE update , Thank you ..
Kudos to u for updating upcoming students like us updating is with the current scenario. Please make a video of Marketing industry 😊market scenario. This will help us analyse our employment ratio by the time we finish our course.
Hi Devyani. First of all thank you for such an informative video. I did my bachelor's on Electronics engineering and currently I am working in IT, where I happen to work on the pension and insurance market in the UK. I am thinking of pursuing a master's course in management either in international business or information systems. Will it be worth it in accordance to my career path till now ? Thanks in advance. :)
The same in Canada. IRCC Minister Miller said that he prefers doers: construction (builders), trade, and health care workers. It is very hard for immigrants to get manager jobs due to language and cultural barriers.
Thanks Devyani for the informative video. Just one question I had, what about persons having 1-2 yrs of work ex wanting to pursue Msc management. Will the work ex in their home country be added as an advantage to find jobs in the UK?
Great video thanks
What an amazingly insightful video ! I normally don't comment on any youtube videos but this quality content just made me to ❤️ good luck on your journey! Also i have a query . I have a testing experience of three years. And planning for a career shift .. so i thought i could do MBA. Should i take the general one? Or any specifications? Considering i have no experience in management....

Ohh my God Devyani!!!!! Thanks a ton this exactly is what I was searching for and exactly came at the right time. Actually I was confused in MSc innovation and entrepreneurship Vs MSc Food Production management since I am already a post grad in food tech from india, but to navigate the uk job industry, I was confused what to choose between the two courses ..thanks..also would be grateful if you could elaborate more on my condition and what I should go with

What are your views on studying Engineering Management for someone who is from engineering background having 3 years of work experience ?
Hi Devyani, I have been working for the past 10 yrs in social development sector as a service designer. I don't have any background in mathematics, or finance, will I be a good fit for an MBA. I am skeptical on my compatibility and future prospect of job. Do suggest, thanks !
Hello Devyani, appreciate your initiative to share such vital information. Very insightful and informative, commendable piece of work. I have a query, if you could kindly address - Iam a security analyst with 3 years of relevant industrial experience and by the time i send my application, my total exp will be more than 4, what are my chances of getting placed, i mean candidates with relevant work exp, do they stand a chance ?
The problem with an MSc Management is that its too damn vague. You don't really bring anything specific to the table when compared to someone whos specialized in analytics, or marketing or finance - but these too are kinda generic. Plus an MBA will be better than an MSc Management any day.
I am planning to pursue BBA in Event Management Through Gem B School Which Provides 2 Years in India and 3rd Year in University of Sunderland London. So should I go for it or not?

well said, students and parents think that they will get high positions once they finish MBA in Tier 1 college's of London, as you said with out industry experience how they understand the business ?? how they become managers to enhance the business ??, in most of the places experience supersedes qualification, most of the managers will go to business schools after 10 years of experience and in their 40's,

hey Devyani, I am a fresher and was planning to study abroad for a master's in luxury brand management. is it worth it to go to the UK without any experience or study here in India without any experience since I don't want to take a gap year?
@devyanikoparde

Hey Kritika! I understand your dilemma. I'd say gaining even a year of work experience in India first can really benefit you before doing a masters in the UK. That experience will help with jobs later. But going straight for the masters is still a great option too if you're set on studying abroad now. Think it over and go with what feels right for you! Let me know if you have any other questions.

With a background in education, some good options for further study in the UK could be master's programs in education, teaching, curriculum design, education leadership/management, or special education needs. Many programs do not require a directly relevant undergraduate degree, so you would likely qualify. Focus on programs that interest you and highlight your transferable skills
