Matt does not need to apologize for being upset. They said on the episode they knew matt would be mad. They told rick glassman that matt was a misogynist didn't they? Even knowing it's a running joke on the podcast... does rick know that? Carly kept apologizing when they revealed it to him, but erin didn't seem to care. She literally uninvited them to her wedding because they didn’t want to be vaccinated when the vaccines started rolling out. Oh the frustration i feel hearing Matt say he will apologize. I don't think i can follow Good Influences anymore. People think it's "mean girl" behavior based on so many previous episodes having to watch it happen over and over. This is not real friendship and it is exhausting to watch. You're allowed to feel how you feel just like all your subscribers are allowed to have thoughts on what we are seeing. My aunts number had 91- (insert number here) 12 or whatever... I put my cousin as the babysitter in time out for hitting his brother he got mad and said I'm calling mom!!!! He missed the inbetween number got emergency services called, hung up the phone, and an army of first responders showed up. 16 year old me is like WTF? HE said I didn't call the cops I want mom, looked at her phone number on the fridge realized what happened... terrifying though.. he was 5. The stories of being a babysitter. 😂

Hot take! I don’t think Carly and Erin should’ve brought in Rick as a guest knowing that Matt was a fan of him…. Even if they didn’t know how big of a fan Matt is of him, it’s still a crappy thing to do, i personally would’ve been hurt if my friends did this and i think carly and erin should both apologize to Matt. However, the situation on the high episode of Unfiltered shouldn’t have happened, it’ds okay to vent to your friends if you are upset, but do it offline. I think it’s great that Matt wants to clear the air. Having been a fan of OnlyFriends, people often misunderstand Erin’s personality and intentions, whereas Carly might seem more empathetic, but i don’t not think either of them did it out of pure malice. yeah I agree - i hate the way good influences were like rubbing it in his face talking about it on their episode reveal - but at the same time, there was NO malicious intent behind it. It was just how things happened. BUT... i do wish they'd at least planned a better episode with Rick. That's more my complaint than anything was that they really dropped the ball to have an awesome episode and instead had awkward and boring chit chat
