Trust your GUT when playing Poker!

Sometimes it pays to listen to your gut! Andrew 'Luckychewy' Lichtenberger talks about how he listens to his intuition in some spots, even if it's not necessarily what a simulation would deem the "correct play".

Intuition is literally you running everything in your mind that you’ve learned but at lightning fast speed imo, I find whenever I go back and break down a hand from a logical standpoint i almost always end up agreeing with what my gut told me too. it’s almost like anything in life whether taking an exam, playing a sport, etc. practice the moves and concepts off the table, and after that just trust your gut once you’re on becuase overthinking never helps.

I love this. I also think intuition is a very important component to poker (and life). I wish more people would recognize the importance of developing logical thinking skills AND INTUITION.

Very interesting to hear you speak on this, I've always believed that in poker its very important to develop your intuition or gut. You can only do this through experience. There are times in poker where your intution of the state of players and conditions at the table should trump the solvers. Understanding when, is an interesting challenge, and certainly not black and white Wish I could discuss this with you further

that is not what he's referring to. andrew i likely educated when it comes to the dry solver theory, plus his pattern recognition has always been superb, that's why he's performed so well over the years. now he's just explaining pattern where there very likely are none. there is no way that you will make money with your way of perceiving the game, you perception has reached astrology level, which is simply too far removed from a game that's based in basic math and logic. review your past performance, including your covid upswing. let that be proof to you. i hope this gets through to you. if it doesn't, and it likely won't.. well, gl.

Mr. Lichtenberger, I need to speak with you-- the universe brought me to you. Ideally, we can speak in person one day, sooner than later. I can give you my email and/or phone number. I hope to hear from you. Have a great day! P.s. thank you for the insights
